Staff was awesome! Very nice and friendly

There was a HEAVY mildew smell when we walked in so we turned the ac down to try and get rid of it. That’s when we noticed the top of the window had what looked like packing tape across the top. We couldn’t close the curtain. The beds and bathroom were clean and that’s all we needed it for.

Formerly a Comfort Suites is an extremely convenient location for MSU activities as it is virtually across the highway from MSU. The service was great as they allowed me early checkin. They had free EV Charging. Good complimentary hot breakfast. Price was very reasonable. Will stay here on every visit if it’s available.

I recently stayed at the Russell Inn and Suites in Starkville and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything met my expectations. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again!

Location was fantastic and property was clean. This property is a little older but well maintained and staff was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great

We had a great stay and the room was clean and pleasant. We did have the body mirror fall off the closet door which was a freak accident but besides that it was great. My son was sad he couldn’t swim due to a bowel movement issue in the pool. We booked for the pool to help him clam down before bed so that was a bummer but understand it can happen at times. Over all breakfast was great, location was perfect, and room was lovely.

Everything was very good. My only issue was that the bed could have been a firmer.

It smelled awful and it was not clean. Dirty towels were in the closet when we arrived. Bathroom was dirty. Love seat with foldout mattress was stained . We left after the first night but was unable to get assistance with leaving early because no one was at the desk .

The carpet needs to be replaced and it needs some upgrades.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Location to the campus is great. Only minor issue was the AC didn't cool as well as I would have liked (left on 65 but stayed 72 or so entire time), but we were on 3rd floor so may have more to do with temp in room beneath us than our AC. Would recommend and will likely stay again.

We booked this last minute and found the location and experience to be great.

Checked in and got to our room and it smelled like ursine throughout the room. Would’ve hoped for some sort of comp or something for a miserable night.
