We did not feel the breakfast was value for money. Our room was clean although it was freezing cold. For a club room it was disgraceful.

. More Direct and Strong Version It honestly does not make sense to pay for a hotel room and then be charged extra to use the pool and gym. These are basic facilities that should come with your stay. If food is not included, then at the very least, access to the pool and gym should be. Charging guests extra for this, even for just one night, feels unnecessary and unfair. Very disappointing experience

The staff in the restaurant were amazing but at reception/check-in, I found two members of staff to be particularly rude. I believe at least, we should’ve been offered a complementary drink for the lack of sleep due to Valentine’s Day celebrations, they ran into the early hours and it was extremely loud, we had a conference to go to. The reception team basically said we booked third-party as if we were lesser clientele. Our comfort was not a priority at this hotel.

The staff were friendly. Free parking was a bonus. The hotel has a gym/spa that is well run and the facilities were great. The hotel has a bar/restaurant which we did not eat at because the prices were very high. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby. I would highly suggest upgrading your room to a club room. These rooms are in a different section of the hotel and come with, late checkout, a coffee maker, and gym/spa access..plus this area was quieter. The only thing that put us off was the amount of used bottles and dishes just laying around by the elevator. Also, we lost water pressure for about 30min for some reason. Other then that it was ok for a 1 night stay. We stayed here because we went to an event at the black country museum and it was only a 10 min walk away.

Stayed a few times and the rooms on the extension side are a bit worn and in need of renovation..wouldnt bother me too much but its a hotel that charges a premium rate and the rooms should reflect this.Breakfast is also quite exspensive.
