lots of space, very clean. pool wasnt that big and got busy real quick. great location if you have business in kona.

The location is good, the people running the place are great, and while the rooms are spacious, they need to be remodeled. Lots of musty, moldy smells, probably due to a past water leak not remediated correctly.

Just two quick nights in a site that would also be great for a week. Walking distance to mall and supermarket. We did not have a car which made it difficult coming home from an activity because street was so dark. But got a lift from a fellow participant so worked out. Wished we could have spent more time there

Scam, they trick you into signing up for a timeshare sales meeting, and take a deposit. Not at all what I expected on a checkin

Nice and clean

This is a vacation type resort, so condo style rooms. About 15 minutes from the heart of Kona- but worth the drive for the space of this rental! We had a king suite. The bathrooms were large- which is important with 2 teen girls! We had a full size kitchen and laundry available! The main property was nice and offered for some beautiful views as the sun set.

I booked this room thinking it was part of a hotel resort. However, I called the day we were supposed to check in and requested an ocean view (thinking it was a hotel). I was told that the units are timeshares and that the owners had booked all the ocean view units out. Upon our arrival, we had to pay a $250 deposit that would be held until we checked out. I was not aware of that deposit. Additionally, we were told we had to go to the travel desk to get wristbands that we would have to use in order to access anything on the premises. When we went to the travel desk to get our wristbands, I heard the employees pitching timeshares to other guests that had just checked in before me, and scheduling times for them to attend a timeshare presentation. I was immediately turned off by this. I’m on vacation and thought I rented a hotel room, so the last thing I wanted was a pitch about timeshares. The buildings are old and our unit smelled like an assisted living facility. While spacious, it definitely needs some upgrading. Only one swimming pool for the entire complex.

A little outdated but great spot with small children

Wonderful space for a family or group and the porch was lovely. Guest services was prompt with requests and lots of activities to enjoy, if desired.

Too far from town.

The good: Easy access to propery. Villas had all that we need. The lawns were very well taken care of. Staff were helpful. They provided extra blankets as soon as we requested. The bad: Pillows were terrible, they sink so bad they disapear from under your head! The carpet had a very foul odor. The air conditioner stayed very cold, did not propery work there was no way to turn the temperature down.

Unfortunately due to itinerary changes I only get to spend 2 nights out of 3 and because I was out all day exploring the island, I didn’t really enjoyed the place in his full potential, but I’ll definitely come back everyone seems super nice apartment was huge clean and super furnished. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We would definitely love to come back to this resort the next time we are on the big island. The resort is very beautiful and very clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you could possibly need, and all of the glasses, including the wine, glasses are sparkling clean. There was enough towels inside of the spacious bathrooms, and the bathrooms were so big. They were almost the size of a bedroom in the master bath. The beds were very comfortable and slept well. The balcony also had an extra large table on it as well as the kitchen for dining. The entire suite that we had was very clean. The pool was clean and quiet. We enjoyed having drinks and we enjoyed the food at the bar. All of the staff were very friendly. We have no complaints at all. If I could make one critique, I would want a ping-pong table. Otherwise, this is an excellent stay, we will definitely come back. The photos on Expedia, do not do this place justice. The grounds, the rooms, the bedroom and bath are all very clean and beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kona Coast Resort, it exceeded our expectations in every way! The hotel amenities were perfect and the resort room was perfect and had literally everything we needed! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful sunsets and great condo kitchen was great could have used a couple more frying pans. But well set up. It's a time share property so had to take a tour and had to listen to sales pitch. If I could afford it I would have bought it. All in all great place to stay.
