Good area and place to stay.

Beautiful location on the beach and golf course. Rooms are old and vastly different from new condos there. But it's still a good hotel for the price. The restaurant and all staff are excellent, great food and service. Benny at the bar is exceptional!

The staff are very friendly and helpful! This hotel is older so one should expect to find an older pool, older sliding doors and bath tubs etc. I was not planning to need to spend the night in Puerto Plata but I am definitely thinking about planning a trip back to stay here again!

We ate at their restaurant for dinner, and we had paid in Dominican Pesos, but for some reason they charged us a $300 USD tip on a $100 meal. Credit card company wouldn't take it off and it was clearly fraud.

The facilities (room) was dated, but mostly worked fine. The restaurant was good/friendly/clean. The beach-side restaurant was under construction (being renovated).

Dirty bed. And the buildings are very old?

The room was comfortable and had a good view of the golf course. The service, especially at the restaurants, was fantastic. Easy access to the beach, and the chill music by the cabanas was relaxing.
