Clean and beautiful view

Friendly and efficient staff, fantastic location, and clean room. Exceptionally comfortable bed. View of the full fjord, until a cruise ship docked and blocked the view for a while. Even then, the hotel was charming and totally enjoyable. Excellent, large selection (and delicious) breakfast buffet. We enjoyed this hotel, highly recommend.

This is an old fashion hotel located at waterfront, having beautiful view and nice surrounding. Room is spacious and breakfast is very good. There are plenty parking and a large commercial EV charging station next to the parking lot.

Old and dated hotel - the whole place needs to be renovated. We were in a family room that was musty with dirty carpet, old bathroom, and lumpy beds. Typical choices for breakfast which was good. The hotel sits directly on the fjord with views from the dining room, but there’s a different cruise ship docked in front there every morning, so all you can see is the ship. The view is completely blocked. There’s a small guest house down the road that’s not near the dock so it has much better views.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We had a fjord view room with balcony and it was well worth the extra we paid as the weather was great. The breakfast was good, didn’t eat in the restaurant. The drinks were pricey but that’s Norway in general. Recommend.

Helena works at reception and she was amazing. My husband wasn't feeling well and she was most helpful. During a stressful time I felt like I was being taken care of like family. Her kindness was greatly appreciated.

Clean room but missing a few details, no kettle or coffee making facilities. Could have done with more than 1 pillow per person. Eidfjord is a quiet place at the weekend so you need to plan ahead if you need supplies as there are only a few places to eat. Had a good fjord view room, however, the cruise pier is directly in front of the hotel so check the schedules as you may only have a metal wall to look at in the morning.

Good for stay

Fantastic property in a beautiful location! Our room was quite comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful (we didn’t know the key card turns on the lights in the room!). The buffet breakfast was amazing! Would love to stay again.

Perfect stop on our trek across Norway. Well maintained and comfortable hotel with all the amenities, a nice restaurant and excellent breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was amazing. I hope the hotel will include a sauna and a swimming pool soon. That would be perfect.

Pleasant staff, and the room was perfectly fine. The shower/bathtub in the room was very slippery, so it felt a bit unsafe to stand and shower. I could hear some noise from the neighboring rooms, but overall it was fairly quiet. Good parking options and fast charging available just a one-minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was also good 😊

Hôtel bien situé. Style et décor un peu vieillot mais cela lui donne son charme. Seul bémol: le souper au restaurant. Trop cher pour un buffet, mais nous sommes en Norvège...
