The staff were very polite and helpful. We felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The breakfast was on the expensive side but had a huge variety of food that seemed fresh and very tasty.

Very comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. We found out a couple of weeks before arriving that our visit coincided with lots of young footballers staying but this proved to be no trouble at all as everything was very well managed and we appreciated the advance warning.

We visited as a family of 10. Booked 2 family rooms and a double. Everything was perfect. there was even a playarea to keep the children happy. It was welcoming and inclusive. Felt very comfortable there. The hotel had no parking but there was good value parking nearby around the church.

Great location close to the square with the Cloth Hall and Menenport. Great cafes and restaurants nearby as well. The rampart is also close by for a lovely walk..

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Didn’t mind the bathroom lay-out, but the see-through shower and toilet doors were totally unnecessary.

Fairly standard Novotel. Large bed in a reasonable size room. Although the toilet and shower were behind (separate) doors, the washbasin was in the room which we didn't like at all. It was a huge basin but with a very low tap so I couldn't fit a water bottle under it and it didn't rinse out the bowl properly either. A definite case of looks being chosen over practicality. WiFi was good, TV was fine. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. Good central location on a quiet side street but there was a noisy pub really close with a few undesirables hanging around outside in the evening. There were also roadworks right outside our window from 7.30am on Monday morning

Great reception friendly staff! Parking was close to hotel even though road was closed due to special no car day. Only a couple minutes to walk to town and to menin gate ceremony Only to as one might bit wound recommender I’d go back if I had reason to return to area
