Nice clean room with a comfortable bed at a great price. No complaints.

If you're looking for a nice and convenient place to stay in downtown Spokane, Hotel Ruby is a great place.

We have stayed here the last three years for Hoopfest and have always enjoyed our stay.

All the Ruby properties are really nice and a credit to Spokane.

We enjoyed our stay at Ruby Hotel. We came for Hoopfest and we were far enough from the crowd, which was perfect. The staffs were super friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

The staff and the location were great! The hotel was just old? The smell was strange, the ac was super loud, the stairs need fixing things like that. The biggest thing was that I booked the hotel with breakfast but when I tried to eat in the morning I only had 2 breakfast vouchers ( no coffee included) for 5 people?! Needed to pay extra for 3 people. Would not recommend this at all!!

Reasonable for the price

It was a nice stay. However, it was listed as breakfast included. They give you a voucher where one person in your party gets free breakfast. Luckily the waitress worked with us on that Loud traffic since its downtown. Very comfy bed.

Really clean but actually a motel with doors to outside. That was unexpected.

This hotel used to be a motel converted to a cute boutique. Now the rooms are worn and falling apart. It’s back to being a motel. My room was dirty, had broken furniture, a broken sink and was filled with flies. Room 104. The restaurant is closed and that wasn’t disclosed. Don’t stay here. I want my money back.

Comfortable room. Fairly quiet except for the fire engines. Convenient location.

It was clean and a nice place to stay. Just be aware that when they advertise “free breakfast” they mean one free entree for one person. Also, most of the parking on site is for compact cars, and when the compact cars park in the few reasonably sized spaces, there is no place for a larger vehicle. They do allow parking in an open plaza at the steam plant plaza, but know it is unsecured and I questioned the safety.

The smoke alarm stated beeping, so we had a rough night sleeping.

Creepy and depressing. The pictures don’t give an accurate feel for the rooms. Not bright at all. Gray and depressing. “Free breakfast” was one ticket per room (not guest) for a free breakfast at the restaurant next door. The lounge wasn’t open at all. Air conditioner in the room was obnoxiously loud. Room smelled like stale pot.

The sanitary is poor. The breakfast is not included. It's cheating ad.

The staff were all super sweet, but the room and property had issues. There was blood on the pillow, makeup on the sheets (I don’t wear makeup), and bodily fluids on the curtain (confirmed with UV flashlight). The light in the “hallway” was broken. The gym and breakfast were both “off campus”. The door had to be pulled tightly several times to make sure it was closed and locked. Unlike other hotel doors, this one does not automatically shut itself when you let go, you have to physically push it until it clicks a few times. Not much quiet time, as the patrons are up and talking/yelling late at night. The bathroom door can’t open all the way, because it slams into the shower door. I had to put a towel in between the two doors so they wouldn’t keep bouncing off of each other. It sounded like I was knocking on the wall to my neighbor. So it was difficult to use the mirror in the bathroom, because I was pushed up against the door.
