Pool could have been a few degrees warmer. Staff were pleasent and very helpful. Ask for a printed copy of you receipt at the end of the stay.....we had several charges to our room for meals. When the staff checked receipts it was clearly not our signsture. They accomodated us and removed the extra charges.

We arrived at 11pm and I wondered through the first and second floor lobbies and couldn’t find any staff. I ended up calling the hotel and then someone came out and was very friendly. They also only gave us 3 towels and there were 4 people in the room. Other than those two small things the hotel was fantastic! Would recommend without hesitation.

Pros: - Quiet, comfortable rooms, outdoor heated pool. - One of many easy ski in/out accommodations. Cons: - Very late room cleaning- both days after 4 p.m. - False advertisement regading "Local Perks". Website states free parking for locals yet we had to pay as they reported the offer is only through direct booking. Front desk staff confirmed this is a common assumption among guests. Manager refused to compensate, highlighting guest's error for not reading the fine print. We not only paid for parking, we paid for indoor "valet" parking as no parking available outdoor close to hotel. The irony is there were no baggage carts or staff available on site. I would recommend looking elsewere as there are plenty nearby accommodations with stellar reviews from friends who recently visited, including Sundance Lodge and Pinnacle Lodge.

Sun Peaks Grand is a cut above!... from the courteous and welcoming staff to the ski in/ski out accommodations.

For its price, the hotel is 'ok'. We stayed just for one night, and we got up early to hit the slopes, but we couldn't get breakfast! The restaurant was at least half empty, with lots of open tables, buffet was the only option, so staff could not have been an issue - and they wouldn't seat us or a bunch of other guests. We didn't have a 'package' or part of a 'group', so they told us we had to wait. And we weren't the only ones. It was mind-boggling to see a group of guests waiting to get into the restaurant when it was empty! When we were told there was a wait, the staff suggested another restaurant nearby. Which is nuts, as our room rate was $500/night... why would we pay that and then have to leave the facility to find breakfast? I'll be curious hear what the hotel has to say in response to this review - hopefully it will be more than lip service!

We had a great weekend at Sun Peaks! The room was clean, cozy and spacious and we appreciated that we could bring our dog.
