Our room and bathroom had been recently refurbished and was bright and comfortable.

This venue suited my needs well

The room that we were first given was very dusty and looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time so we were given another room. In this room the heating did not work so we were given a stand alone heater. The up side was that the gentleman on reception did everything he could to resolve these issues which he did to our satisfaction. The breakfast was very nice and the service from the one lady that went round like a hurricane doing everything was first class.

Lovely 4 night stay for a family wedding nearby. Rooms are big but no aircon, provided with a fan but during the heatwave, wasn't powerful enough. Hotel could do with investing in decents fans. No lift at the hotel, reception staff were great with luggage but not ideal for them or visitors. Jodie was particularly helpful and couldn't do enough for us! Breakfast was great, however, had a different chef on our final day and we could tell instantly as it wasn't as good.

The hotel does warn guests that it often hosts weddings on a Saturday. Beware as it is quite small for such events and the disco noise will ensure that you get no sleep until gone midnight. Taking into account guests returning to their rooms in high spirits then it may be gone 1am before things really quiten down. Hotel is OK for priice paid but unless you are wedding guests stay well clear when they are hosting such events.

A lovely hotel that we've stayed in a few times before and never had a bad experience or any issues. Staff are very helpful and the breakfast is cooked fresh rather than being out on hot plates for an extended period of time.

Great hotels. We booked 3 rooms to attend a concert at Piece Hall Halifax. A 2nd visit. The hotel is perfect. Good parking. Very clean good room a large bath in my room. Perfect. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, thank you Nichola.

Spacious room, good food, great staff

Not so good- false advertising free breakfast but it was cheaper to book the room and pay for breakfast instead of the price that includes breakfast
