Nice place to enjoy shot stay for vacation. We have few remarks wanted to share with the management team First, our room was for accessible and had may features that were not the right choice for us, second, Hot water was not coming in the bathroom sink and the top shower head in the bathroom, third, no lights over the sink mirror, fourth, TV signal was poor for most stations and last, TV set location on the wall was very unusual!

Definitely a case of you get what you paid for! We had called ahead to check about bringing pets as there was a bit of confusion on Expedia on how many were allowed. When we arrived receptionist confirmed the confusion but was also shocked that we had dogs and asked why we hadn't let them know in advance. When we mentioned that we had booked through Expedia, she sighed and said that explains it and that their not fans of Expedia but it brings in business. The pet area for the dogs to do their business was pitiful at best; a small gated area at the back with artificial grass barely long enough for even a medium sized dog and clearly never cleaned. The rules listed for the dogs meant that unless they were in a crate or slept on a dog rug on the bed, they weren't allowed. I get that cleaning the bedding with dog hairs is a hassle, especially for people who are allergic but the whole thing felt like false advertising. We saw other people with cats and dogs so maybe they had a better experience but this place truly shouldn't list itself as a pet friendly place. The room itself was minimal: a full sized bed, a small fridge with a keurig style coffee maker on top and the bathroom was large for the room size as well as a wall mounted TV. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and both of us didn't really sleep well either night. Overall not a great experience and we will not be coming back here.

Check in was a little funky because there was a sign on the door saying to call for assistance and no one in the lobby. I called 2 or 3 times and no one answered. I went back to my car for a few minutes and went back and saw that someone was back at the desk checking someone in. Other than that the staff were friendly and the room and grounds are clean. It’s a quaint little group of cottages which I like the feel of more so than a large hotel. The fire at night was a nice touch with fixings set out to make s’mores. Breakfast in the morning was good too! Bagels, English muffins, muffins, oatmeal in a crock pot with mix ins on the side, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, and an assortment of tea. I was bummed that I got to breakfast during the last half hour because I missed out on breakfast sandwiches. But I still got my protein via the hard boiled egg. There is a cute orange cat that lives on the property and it has its own little cottage which is super adorable! My only complaint is that the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom were really low. My husband smacked his hand hard on the ceiling when he was taking his shirt off and he’s less than 6’ tall. Not sure if it was just our cottage or if other also have low ceilings. I’m only 5’2” and can reach up and touch some parts of the bathroom ceiling because it’s sloped.

What a great find!! Beautiful well-kept property and cottages. We loved our spacious updated cottage, with front porch to sit on. We loved the grounds - so well cared for and beautiful. I would walk the grounds and find new treasures each time - from the beautiful pond, the little waterfall, figurines here and there among the plants. S’mores are offered each evening by the big firepit. There’s a resident cat named S’more. We fell in love with her. Even let her spen a night in our cottage. She slept in our bed, and even on my husband’s chest. I miss her. And sooo important - the staff are all friendly, positive, and work well together. I was most impressed by Renee - excellent groundskeeper, maintenance person (does it all, from woodworking, electrical and plumbing, to garden designer). Great getting to know and chat with everyone. Guernville is quaint and the area is so pretty. Great huge river beach a couple miles from cottages, where they sell food and ice cream, and rent canoes and kayaks. We visited Bodega Bay, only 30 min away. We also spent an afternoon at Fort Ross. Beautiful state park

Very good

This was a surprisingly great place. The room was great, the breakfast was good, the location was good with lots of trees, the staff excellent, and they even had a fire pit and good pool to allow people to interact day and night. We were very pleased as we were using the booking to evaluate the place and would be happy to go back.

Loved the mother and son cats, the pool, the breakfast, and just the overall peaceful setting.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was a big cut above most continental breakfasts.

The gal that checked us in was very accommodating. She informed us about the amenities and the scheduled camp fire and breakfast. At the firepit we met some really great people and shared things about ourselves for a few hours. Very enjoyable stay.

Very cozy studio with mini fridge and Keurig. Small bath ti match but mattress and pillows were not very comfortable (a bit worn out?). Very nice grounds with fire pit, chairs and s'mores provided most nights. Breakfast offered too late at 8:30am. Reception friendly and patient when reservation NOT found initially (Expedia mistake).
