The hotel’s location is its main advantage, as it is situated in a great area of the city, close to Zona Rosa. However, my overall experience was disappointing.
The rooms do not have air conditioning or even a fan, which can make the stay quite uncomfortable, especially during warmer months. In addition, the mattress in my room was in very poor condition, with a hard ridge running down the middle and noticeable sagging on both sides, which caused significant discomfort and back pain.
I also had a frustrating experience with the staff when I requested a room change. The morning-shift receptionist told me that room changes could only be arranged after 5:00 p.m. and instructed me to speak with the evening staff. When I did so after 5:00 p.m., the evening-shift receptionist told me that room changes had to be requested before 1:00 p.m. through the morning staff. As a result, I was never able to change rooms and had to endure the uncomfortable mattress for the duration of my stay.
I would only recommend this hotel as a budget-friendly option near Zona Rosa and primarily for winter travel, when the lack of air conditioning is less of an issue.
