Just average hotel. Nothing special

Lovely modern hotel in a lovely town

We booked at $302 and were charged $372. The process of asking which currency is a scam to add $70 to our bill because we checked the USA box. We already agreed in writing on a $302 rate. There was no need to ask us to make an uninformed rate decision at check in. Terrible shell game. ☹️☹️

Lovely hotel, lovely staff and great cheese and meat platter. The room was nice and big and the bathroom was also lovely.

Super buffet breakfast. Clean, comfy room with little fridge. Noisy construction from new hotel addition starting about 7:30am. Smart TV didn"t work but hotel offered us another room if we wanted to move.

Nice hotel within easy walking distance of the port.

A lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the bar and were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and included amenities like a heated bathroom floor. The bed was comfortable, and the service at the front desk was excellent. Free parking made things even more convenient.

Great place to stay

Staff were excellent, the chap on reception was the smartest dressed hotelier I’ve seen! Decor of rooms and hotel overall was nice and different from what we experienced in other hotels across Iceland. Would like to see what other Fosshotels were like.

Loved this hotel. Excellent, friendly staff. Good sized rooms, well appointed. Great location, short walk to harbor and other sights. Good bar and restaurant downstairs. Had the fish and chips - very tasty! Would definitely stay here again

We felt very welcome! Incredible view from the room and welcome chocolates and drinks in the room by booking through Expedia. Half of the hotel was under renovation but it didn’t bother us at all (no noise or disruptions). We’d certainly come back and stay again!

Really lovely hotel, friendly staff, great location

Hotel was located within walking distance to some sights and restaurants. Staff courteous and polite. Room clean and quite spacious.

the heater was not working properly and we woke up in midnight to call reception about this, staff offered to change room or a electric heater, since we were really tired we asked for the electric heater instead. Staff brought the electric heater up immediately and tried to check our room heater as well, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is extra 2800kr pp.

Great property with nearby restaurants. Also close to the harbor so it was great to be able to just walk and enjoy the views

Friendly and efficient check-in, good sized standard room. Great breakfast. Walking distance to main sites of Husavik.
