Staff and restaurant fabulous! Hotel is dated and a little old and could use an overhaul. The staff were great and very helpful and friendly.

Although the building dates to the 1750s, the interior and room was clean and modern. Hotel has an elevator, which is not a given for hotels overseas. There was no temperature controls in the room, but that is also not uncommon.

Internet was good. Breakfast is the basic and not worth paying extra. We tried the lunch and it was good. The manager was not friendly and watching her interact with staff I was able to see why the staff never smiled due to the way she was talking to them. A 4 night stay and ate breakfast once. The pub food was better and eaten there once. The staff were very friendly in the pub. Our Housekeeper was excellent and very helpful. Room was clean but outdated. The location was convenient to highways and nearby towns.

Great location for visiting Dublin with a car. They have a large free parking lot and it’s right off the main road. Wonderful breakfast! The staff were super helpful and accommodating for early check in. We would definitely stay there again!

The place name is misleading.. no spa , no swimming, no gym. This is pretty average hotel at most. Very outdated and in need of refreshment. Free parking, good breakfast and in good place if you have a car!

Very nice hotel to stay in. First time in Ireland and the outside decor is great! Recommend staying here and whenever we go back, we would stay there again.

A beautiful unique looking place thought it was a castle we were staying in period everyone was very friendly even the taxi driver that took us to the airport.

Room was ok, but they were running out of food an hour before closing time, which is not good when people want to have a lie in and have a late breakfast. It happened on 2 days out of the 3 we were there.

The breakfast is amazing, and the staff are always great! We stay at the historic Lucan Spa Hotel every time we're in Dublin.

Need a car or a bus to get to shops. Bus right in front of the hotel.

No complaints, hotel and staff were excellent.It even let us check in a little bit early because we got off a flight
