Things that were great: -the size of our junior swim-out room and the mini pool -the waterslides -the food -the greenery on the resort ground -the gym -Filippe serving us at the buffet for dinner service (best server at the resort!) -the entertainment -the cleanliness of the rooms -the hot tub Things that weren’t great: -the (rentable for a price) cabanas at the big pool blocking the view of the pool -the fact that the big pool was unheated (there were more people in the hot tub than in the pool) -the staff trying to sell you things every time you leave your room -the beach (SO much seaweed) -the tractor running on the beach trying to get rid of the seaweed -the hard beds All in all, we had a good time. I understand the resort makes money off the cabanas but they’re all front row around the pool so they block the view for hundreds of people and they’re expensive to rent. I also understand the need for the tractor to work on the seaweed (sargassum) situation but we were hoping for Caribbean beaches. We should have spent less and gone to Puerto Vallarta!

SUPER kid friendly.

Nice property with beautiful roof top pool, club area is great with ocean front swim out and suite. kids club was excellent, food was ok (surprising in Mexico) and staff were nice but had better service at other Hyatts overall. Evening entertainment was ok.

The pool was beautiful. I did not like that it was very confusing to get to the rooms. The vegetation is beautiful but it blocks the view to see where you need to go.

The food was awful and they will try to upcharge you on everything through out the stay.

Great

Amazing staff, great food, fun events going on, etc. The only real downside is the beach. It’s full of seaweed even at the time of year when it’s supposed to be at its lowest level. If you don’t mind not having a swimmable beach everything is perfect.

Room was clean and big. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Fridge was kept pretty well stocked. Food was decent, buffet had a decent number of options. Blue water grill was great food. The Italian place had tiny portions. The teppanyaki qas only available one night, after 9pm which was disappointing. The beach had incredibly soft sand, but a fair amount of seaweed and the water was murky most days we were there. Always chairs available on the beach, but tough to get chairs around the pool, unless you saved them before 9ish. Shows were good, and kids club had decent programming for kids. We loved the prehispanic show in particular, very impressive. Overall a great stay at a very good smaller resort.

Food wasn’t the best and the place looks worn down.

The room had a strong smell of mildew, and we could not be moved to another room. The staff was very friendly and cleaned the AC and used an ozone machine twice in our 4 nights, which helped in the short term, but not the long term. The ceiling had a black mold ring that was dripping water. It wasn't nice. Instead of feeling relaxed, I had a feeling of being stressed. No one wants to be deep in home maintenance on vacation. This was a swim out king in building 2. The positives were the individual staff and the Mexican breakfasts.

Hotel was clean, food was decent (not amazing), everyone was super friendly. Just DO NOT go off-site to preview another hotel for them (they will try and sell you this at every turn and tell you they will give you money for it). They do give you money but they’ll waste 3-5 hours of your trip even though they make it sound like a “one hour tour”. Wish I would have read this before the trip so hope it saves someone else 😬

Room Cleaning was always delayed, swim out pool in room was not properly maintained and not cleaned at least while I was at resort. Lot of birds and its garbage at pool. Internet wifi and room service issues during my stay, landline was not working to connect with front desk even though I got preferred club room there is no difference in experience when compared to other rooms. Don't spend much on preferred club rooms.

The people that work there are amazing couldn’t have asked for any better!

Very cozy environment. Not too crowded. Great service. I was in one of the club suite. Room was great. Beach wasn’t crowded. Activities for both adults and kids. So yes my family surely enjoyed the time at Dreams Sapphire.

the room was amazing. the staff was great! the buffet not so great. the breakfast at the buffet was great, we never did go for lunch, we ate there one time for dinner, and there wasn't a lot to choose from. The restaurants were amazing. the resort was clean. they keep the beach super clean, every morning they were out there cleaning up the seaweed.

We had a room right by the beach bar, a swim out and view of the ocean, so it was perfect. The walk to the Adult pool was not far. The property is very large ! Lots going on all the time! The room was clean and the food was very good. The service at the big pool was slow with so many people there. The adult pool was nice and quiet to read or nap and the service was great! In the restaurants they offered blankets if you were cold. The evenings were chilly!

Everything was fantastic. Rooms clean, food tasty, bars attentive, and staff was so nice and on top of anything we needed. Pools were a little cold. Had the swim out room, but pool was too cool to use in mid-January.
