Excellent boutique hotel

We spent one night at Hotel Karlaplan with our family at the beginning of March 2026. As soon as we arrived, we got a positive impression of the hotel, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. In the room, the sofa had already been made up as a bed, since we were three adults and one baby. It was also nice that the staff were so friendly toward our 3-month-old baby—always a plus! The room was clean and tidy, and there was a fantastic, wide selection for breakfast. The night was calm, with no disturbances either from other rooms or from outside the hotel. We also greatly appreciated that we could leave our bags in storage for a few hours after check-out, since our boat departed later in the afternoon and we wanted to walk around Stockholm without all the luggage. The icing on the cake was also a lovely postcard personally written to me that warmly welcomed us to the room! All these positive details made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you, Best Western Hotel Karlaplan—we would be happy to come back the next time we are in Stockholm!

No frills hotel, great friendly staff that understood my needs. My room was just a bit dated but would stay again.

Clean modern

Room felt like a hostel, with vinyl floors and a very average breakfast. Unbelievable for the price we paid.

The room was small but well designed and functional. The included breakfast was exceptional. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Really nice room we had. Felt like we were in the basement but didn’t bother us. Only thing - by our window was rubbish bags so was little annoying seeing that as our view. Good showers and a lot of things were in walking distance! Kind staff too!
