Great location, but very run down and carpets were very stained or dirty. Breakfast was as expected, although not as nice as most of the comparable Confort Inn type breakfasts.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean but needs some updating. Breakfast was not replenished often.

internet was ok; didn’t really use it much as we were un town for a wedding. When we checked in around 3:30 pm, we were hardly settled in our room when numerous out-of-control children were yelling and playing tag in the 2nd floor hallway, down the entire length of the hallway and frequently right outside our room. I’m not sure if there was a team sport tournament in town, or a bunch of families travelling together, but it was evident the adults needed parenting skills. I was prepared to go to the front desk to complain, but thankfully they seemed to leave to go for a meal almost at the same time we did. When we returned after the wedding, the adults we assumed belonged to the feral children earlier were drinking and socialising in the stairwell right inside the east entrance, but thankfully a couple of doors prevented us from hearing the noise. The facilities were fine— a bit dated, but quite clean with the usual necessities. Couldn’t seem to find a channel guide for the tv, but again, we weren’t in the room much to really have it matter. It might be helpful for future guests, though. Check in/out was efficient, no complaints.

The room we wanted in the fantasy suites had the roof collapse the day we were supposed to stay. Put into another one I would’ve never choose. I think I counted 18 water buckets in the lobby.

Really loved this hotel. Our dinner at Tom’s Place is excellent!

The decor of the hotel. The food- breakfast wasn’t just open a box and cook- it was cooked on site. The pub nachos and staff- superb. The rooms were cozy had a nice lodge feel.

This is a very cute hotel. The fireplaces make it so cozy. Very clean. Helpful and polite staff. Tom’s Place was is great, good food, very warm and welcoming ambiance, and great staff.

A very clean and well-maintained hotel with two great restaurants/bars and friendly staff. The breakfast was disappointing after reading good reviews of it. The coffee machines were both empty when we arrived and the food wasn’t hot or tasty. It’s probably good if you arrive earlier. We were there towards the end of the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Hallways were quite dated. Breakfast buffet was pretty basic with stale bread and cold eggs. Not worth the price!

Breakfast was the typical 'included with room' buffet, what made it most pleasant was the person working there. There is something to be said about getting yogurt out of a machine, would much prefer single serving with choice of flavours. All in all, it was fine. Highlight of our stay was Tom's Place - great food, great service and amazing ambiance.
