Central location

Mostly good – great location & friendly staff. The ventilation was very bad though – the aircon didn’t stop the room being very stuffy and smelly. If the window was openable (even by 10 or 20cm) that would make it a lot nicer, and probably wouldn’t let anyone fall out. It would also be much nicer if there was a kettle in the room, to save having to go downstairs to get a cup of coffee

Breakfast was amazing, able to walk everywhere, which was fantastic. Clise to excellent restaurants.

Old hotel, quite basic, not on level of other Scandics. Breakfast ok but not many options, porridge dried out, pancakes dried.

I wanted a central location for one night. Atlas was what I needed. If I had a longer stay I would’ve chosen the Scandic close to the harbor and Väinölänniemi.

Just a 15 minute walk from train station & situated in center of city. Market -transportation right outside door. A character hotel with everything one needs including laundry facility for travelers. ☀️

If you want to visit the center of Kuopio and do shopping, this is the most convenient place. Located smack in the center, with underground Marketplace parking and just next door to Sokos shoping center, you will enjoy your convenient location.

The stay was good. The Scandic -standard was safe, convenient and easy. Nothing special but still predictable in a suitable way. The location was perfect and the staff nice. Could stay again.

Good location, very friendly staff, comfy bed (although the pillows were either rock solid or soft and lumpy). The room was a good size and seemed very well sound-proofed. A kettle and tea/coffee in the room would be welcome, but the inclusive breakfast was very nice so it wasn't a huge issue.

Great location, just cross the street and you are at the famous Kuopio market place. Very clean rooms and of all the places we have stayed Atlas breakfast has been the best, 4 min eggs, 7 min eggs, bacon, sausage, berries, various breads and of course Karjalanpiirakka. Breakfast was by far the largest and best quality I’ve seen. Car parking under the hotel, accessible by two elevators. Rooms were spacious.

I liked the friendly reception, but I didn’t like the state of the room.. We arrived on Friday and the room was not cleaned at all. Asked for new towels on Sunday and was promised to get fresh one but alas nothing happened on that day and our bed was not even made!!! Despite leaving things in order in the room. Please improve on cleaning, we noticed dust had accumulated inside the side beds.

Nice, clean, centrally located hotel. Plenty of parking available under the market square. Shops and local attractions are nearby.

Great breakfast with gluteenfree options. Milj free still mostly missing but ok. Friendly service and good central location. Super for symmetrinen stay!

The staff are very friendly. The hotel breakfast is good. The room is clean and cozy. The air conditioner is a bit noisy. It will be nicer if the room has a kettle or microwave oven
