Good hotel, friendly staff. Particularly breakfast. My only complaint would be that they closed the restaurant early when I stayed on a Tuesday night.

Very dirty and out dated hotel. Not with the price. Breakfast was horrible. I will never stay there again and definitely not recommend to any friends

The rooms were clean sheets were of good quality. Bathroom basic but clean. The owner was very nice and friendly.

The Hotel was quite comfortable and central to visit the historical town of Soest. There wasn't much interaction with the staff though.

Admittedly we stayed on a Sat. night (arriving quite late and booked en-route), but over-priced regardless. General condition poor (cats on seating area, carpets in common areas stained and littered, beds very uncomfortable), and general condition of premises need a revamp. However the staff were customer orientated, breakfast was excellent, as was the available WiFI.

Hotel has been updated from the last time we stayed 2 years ago staff even remembered us rooms were clean staff very courteous and very helpful we will return in 2 years time

It was very hot & no air-conditioning available. Windows open except that our window was shaped so unable to open with the drop-down effect. Easy to walk into town & see everything. Walking on the wall also great. Parking lot was beside the hotel. Beds were soft. Bathroom accessible with hot water shower. Breakfast was very good .. buffet. Elevator available. Front desk personnel were willing to give assistance & offer suggestions plus a city map was available.

No tea or coffee making facilities available in the rooms & limited choice of food in the evening. We did go out to eat but it was pouring with rain & would have eaten in the hotel if a better option.

Convenient location with spacious room. Under repair. Room faced traffic and noisy. No air conditioner or fan so window had to be open.Excellant parking. Easy walk into town.

Great location, just on the edge of town, plenty of parking, friendly helpful staff. Entrance was having a refit so will be better when finished, overall would recommend.

OK value-for-money hotel but not for business visitors eg no choice of menu, no proper desk to work in room.

Clean and inexpensive

Peaceful nights, cheerful and helpful staff; it couldn't have been nicer. Everything is in walking distance including bus and rail stations. Can't praise it enough, and I really enjoyed my Sunday evening meal; it took me a while to realize that there was an evening menue for every day, my fault - it was quite obvious!

Great rooms, overall good experience

Hotel Am Wall is only 8/10 minutes from the east-west motorway and quite easy to find. Parking is free. The room and its facilities were good. Just 8/10 minutes walk into the town of Soest and its lovely atmosphere. There is a useful choice of eating places in town, too. In the morning, we had an excellent breakfast - hot food and buffet-style food both available. This was our second visit to the Hotel Am Wall. I expect to use it again next year as part of our annual trip to the far eastern part of Germany!
