We chose Salamanca Terraces primarily for the location (which included parking), and we were not disappointed. Room was as expected and we liked the fact it had a microwace/bar fridge/plates/cups/cutlery etc so we could have our own meals when required. Only down side, and this is our own preferance, is that the bed was a little uncomforable, and we had problems getting a good nights sleep. (this may not effect everyone). There were amenities/facilities across the road at Lenna of Hobart, but we did not partake in this. As said, location was great to explore the markets on Saturdays, walk the wharf area with lots of different eating establishments, and explore Battery Point all without using the car. I would recommend.

The room was above the entrance to the building and also the entrance to the carpark. Very very noisy at all times of day and night. Staff acknowledged this issue and said there would be upgrades next year. Not any good to us.

They staff were excellent. Very happy with our stay here, so close to everything.

The apartment is a good size and very clean and comfortable. There is also a small balcony with a good view. The apartment is round the corner from salamanca place, so straight into the lively atmosphere, good restaurants, shops and bars. Have used these before and will use again, you have to check in at the Lenna hotel opposite which is fine, the young lady there i dealt with was very good and pleasant.

Fantastic position, roomy, clean apartments. Safe, easy parking.

A great place to stay in an excellent location, our one bedroom apartment was of a good standard and very clean and comfortable.

Room was spacious & had most of the things you need. Overall rooms are due for an update as floor tiles in kitchen & bathroom were cracked & chipped. Kitchen cupboards also need a few additions like microwave containers, oven trays etc. But overall great location & would recommend.

Great staff and clean apartments

Ultra convenient but the washing machine was amazingly loud ... I'm surprised the whole building didn't ask us to do their washing as well!

We checked in and the room smelt of gone off fish. The smell was so strong it was not bearable. We reported this to staff who didnt really believe us so we had a wait for someone to come down and check it out. We then spoke with a manger who upgraded us for 1 of the 2 nights which was great and we really appreciated. Night 2 we had to move and the room we were given was run down and budget but cost a lot. I wish I had have done more research as it was not a great experience. I

Spacious, spotless, easy check in at Lenna opposite. Lovely helpful staff, we were able to leave luggage whilst on our 7 day hike. Thank you for a great stay!

Room was great. Checkin at a different location across the street was difficult and parking for checkin was too complicated.

Room wasn’t as pictured - no bath which was why I’d booked it, and it was described as ‘shower/bath’ but was only a shower. Staff a bit rude at check in, and also when I asked for the bottle of wine Expedia had added as a frequent traveller VIP perk. Then they gave me a $10 bottle of wine. Overall just a bit disappointing.

Perfect location and a very easy check in process at the hotel across the road. Access to car-parking great. Rooms a little tired and needing some renovations but serve their purpose.

Apartment was clean but very tired. Advertised as penthouse but needs an upgrade to match description. Broken tiles in bathroom, curtains didn't close properly, door locks to balcony were loose. I've previously stayed in another apartment here and its condition was much better.
