Fantastic breakfast, great location, nice clean room

The staff was awesome, the hotel room was clean, the general areas were updated & well appointed. The hotel is located perfectly. Cannot beat the value one gets staying here.

Rooms are very quaint but very run down. Very loud on a Saturday night with Whyte ave bars.

Great continental breakfast. Lots shopping near by. Parking cost me a fortune to park 3 blocks away. Hallways haven’t been vacuumed for a long time. All three days we were there and there was messy before we got there. Nice premium rooms though.

Very loud/noisy with all the bars around. No A/C in winter so had to open window - which made it even more noisy.

Great location in the heart of Whyte Avenue, close to great restaurants and boutiques.

The room and hotel were mostly great. Spacious, clean, comfortable bed, and wonderful shower. Just two towels; sink drained poorly so it was full whenever used; fireplace did not work. The hotel provided use with wine (we don’t drink alcohol and cookies to compensate for the fireplace). The worst part is the noise from the bar(s). The hotel provide ear plugs but it was so loud there was no way to cancel it out. We were on the 8th floor. If it wasn’t for the outside noise I would strongly recommend but as I couldn’t sleep until after 2am I would only stay on a weekday.

We always enjoy booking at Metterra for a staycation in Edmonton. One of the downfalls of booking through Hotels.com, which is owned by Expedia, is we often get what we refer to as “the Expedia rooms,” which translates to the rundown,

I have stayed here twice now, its been a great experience. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. It's right in the midst of the entertainment area, lots of options for food or a night out. Highly recommend!
