Very impressed with the hotel and especially the staff. Marsha, KIm, Sophie, Charlotte and the entire team were all on the ball! I am the CEO of Genistar and our event had almost 200 people there and your team handled it like a Pro! Thank you for your hospitality and professionalism.

Check in was a shambles. The whole hotel was so busy with various conferences and weddings, we felt very low down on the priority list. There was also no way of knowing that there were three separate buildings and it turned out some rooms had air con and others (ours) had a rickety old fan. During a heatwave, this was unacceptable. The parking was so bad, we nearly had to park on the golf course! Would not recommend staying here especially during the summer months.

The restaurant's staff in the Mansion House were very helpful, especially the tall lady in Head scarf, she smiles and listen to request and made it happen

The breakfast was excellent, there was a little confusion with finding parking outside of Wellington Lodge, parking was limited, it was hampered my another hotel resident and thier bad parking. My room in Wellington was comfortable no problems. Staff i met were welcoming and professional.

The property was brilliant, the food was great, the amenities were good. The room was clean, the staff were helpful, the food had great variety and was really tasty and there was enough parking. There was no air conditioner in our room , which was strange as the weather was really hot at almost 30 degrees. They put a fan in the room , that helped a bit but the fan was not effective because the air was stil, we felt really uncomfortable and couldn't sleep for a while. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay here again.

Massive expanse of land for adventure, leisure and sight seeing

Our room was clean and cool as our visit was during the heatwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially agreeing to transport us in the golf buggy as our room was a few minutes walk from the main reception. Breakfast was very delicious was a fair variety of items to choose from. Parking is fair but could become tight if there is a big event on. The grounds are well kept and encouraging to take a wander around. I totally enjoyed my stay, so thank you to the wonderful staff.

Room is fine and breakfast ok, but we had a bad experience. A male member of the housekeeping team let themselves into our room early in the morning, without knocking. When confronted, the guy was unable to speak English or explain why he entered without knocking. We reported it and they apologised but it shouldn’t happen. I get the impression it is chaotically managed.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was incredibly nice—clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect, and having hassle-free onsite parking made our trip so much smoother. We also loved the nice pool area, and the food at the restaurant was both delicious and very well priced. Highly recommend this place,

False advertising! The majority of pictures on the Expedia site are for the Manor House, with beautiful architecture and history. The hotel is not in the manner but in a modern building next door. The hotel itself was ok, but wasn’t what we had booked or intended!

There was no air conditioning, and the room was extremely hot and stuffy. A member of staff told us they would provide an additional fan, so we went to reception to ask. We were told a fan would be sent to our room, but after waiting over an hour nothing arrived. When we returned to reception, we were then told that no fans were available. We were also not given any information about breakfast, including where it was served or the opening and closing times. The hotel was extremely busy due to two conferences, and the communal areas had an unpleasant smell, possibly because of the heat. We had expected to be staying in the mansion house, so this was disappointing. In addition, the carpet in our room had not been vacuumed.

I had a great stay at the hotel for a wedding. The room was huge and the beautifully designed. I really liked the various lighting and the room had lots of mirrors. Staff were great and friendly; I asked for green tea teabags and staff bought them to my room quickly.

Beautiful 1-night stay at the hotel. Very prompt check-in. Made use of the swimming pool facilities. Our room was very nice and recently refurbished. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast. We will defo stay again. First class.

Some updates needed: air conc not fan in bedroom. Jacuzzi & steam room needed in pool area. Plates at breakfast need to be heated as hot food quickly went cold. More signs needed to get to rooms from reception

We recently stayed at De Vere Wokefield Estate and had a mixed but generally positive experience. The estate itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning grounds and impressive facilities that make it feel like a special destination. The amenities were good, and there was plenty to enjoy during our stay. However, the room was a little disappointing compared to the rest of the property. It felt somewhat dated and dingy, and could definitely benefit from some updating to better match the quality of the estate and the room upgrade we had expected. Service was also a bit inconsistent. There were three of us staying in the room, but only two towels were provided. We requested additional towels, including some for the pool, but unfortunately they never arrived despite our asking. Overall, the gorgeous setting and facilities made for an enjoyable stay, but improvements to the rooms and more attentive service would make a significant difference and help the experience live up to the property's potential.

Beautiful hotel and amenities.

The building we were put in was out of the way and quite a walk from the main hotel. Not helpful when transporting luggage. But the hotel itself was clean, the breakfast was great and there was ample parking.
