Everything was good about the stay apart from the extortionate drink prices in the hotel bar.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the staff of the hotel made my stay very enjoyable. Easy to communicate and super friendly! Only thing that was tough was the hotel did not offer any face towels, or wash rags. They only had a a bath towel and what I assumed was a floor mat towel. But outside of that the stay was perfect! Would definitely stay in this hotel again

Had full intentions of staying at this property, Then, the Netherlands imposed a quarantine policy even with the Covid vaccination. Therefore we were unable to get to that hotel!! It would have been to the hotel's advantage to refund at least part of the money.

Everything was great

A relatively affordable and fairly nice hotel, few minutes drive from Leeuwarden city center. Parking is available and for free. Staff is very nice and helpful. We even got good advice for sightseeing in the region. The hotel surrounding is meh....but we were only looking for a place to sleep.

It was a good night with comfort, new, clean and quiet room. We don’t hear any sound from the ring road, except the doormat be a bit “thin”, that we do hear people talk while they walk back to their room.

We stayed only for the night. The room was nicely decorated, the beds (though a little soft) were good, the bathroom nice and roomy. We didn´t take breakfast, 14,50 each was a little too much for our taste. The price was allright. The hotel lies at a busy street, but the windows were perfectly isolated, so we didn´t hear anything. Normally I´d like to open the windows, but there was airconditioning, so I didn´t midn. It´s on walking distance of the railwaystation and the citycenter.

Nice newish hotel, room was a bit tight, good room rates, dinner at restaurant was reasonably good and friendly staff. Wifi and parking was free, and easy. A reasonable location to explore Leeuwarden if you have a car. Unfortunately our room was not made up one day after a misunderstanding, but rectified next day.

Great staff! Very professional and courteous. The location was perfect for our trip.

Good value for money. We had a deluxe room, which was bigger than comfort room. Bathroom very big, with two basins and a very good shower. Beds were a bit too soft, but we still had a good night's sleep. We asked for a kettle and one was provided immediately, along with extra pillows. Staff all very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very nice. Free wifi was very good. Convenient situation for bus stops. From rail or bus station take bus 320, 14 or 95 and it stops outside the hotel. Ask driver for ticket to Bastion hotel. (NB bus only takes credit card.) And to go to town the bus stop is a short walk to the other side of the road.

Good first impression due to very friendly staff and nice lobby. Room and bathroom functional but small. Beds are soft and sagging in center. Great individual espresso maker in room. Overall an ok stay.
