Quiet and beautifully maintained, yet quite central to interesting places in Catania.

Outstanding hotel. Located walking distance to all of the sights, the hotel really helped make our first trip to Catania one to remember. They upgraded our room, provided us with directions and dining recommendations. When we wanted to see a teatro du pupi they helped arrange a reservation on a local show down the street. The room was spacious and art deco with a patio. Breakfast was delicious and they made eggs and coffee upon request. Highly recommend!

It was out-of-the-way was poorly located, not text savvy at all

The property was older and needed work; the area around the property was largely abandoned and felt unsafe. Lots of boarded up buildings.

This was a beautiful hotel in an area close to everything. I would especially like to mention the customer service was incredible. Our flight was canceled and Silvio was a savior. He was able to already have a room ready by the time we got back to the hotel, he accommodated us for a late check out and made our lives so much better.

This place is lovely. Silvio at the front desk is amazing! He was friendly and professional and went out of his way to help us, after we checked out and had to return due to a flight cancellation. Amazing service. Location is good for touring but immediate surrounding area is a little deserted.

A beautiful hotel with the true feel of Italy! Staff was very responsive and accommodating to our early morning departure. I wish I was there for more then one night.

The accommodations were exceptional and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The location is convenient to downtown and far enough away to be quiet The breakfast was great and the bar is always open I would highly recommend the Liberty Hotel when in Catania

Staff was friendly and helpful. Short walk to restaurants and the park. Rooms were clean though furniture was older, they also had very high ceilings. Felt very old world Italian (which was perfect).

Lovely hotel with excellent, friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast with tea/coffee available on request during the day. Easy walking distance to the central areas, tourist attractions, restaurants etc. 10min walk from the metro.

The hotel is up a hill, about 5-10 minutes walk from the Roman ruins so for people with walking difficulties it’s probably not the hotel for you. For us it was wonderful. After the busy streets outside it was a place of perfect calmness for us. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We were on the ground floor but couldn’t hear a sound from the street. The area outside the hotel looks a little rundown, but that’s just Catania. Inside the hotel is beautifully appointed. We had a large comfortable room. Would definitely stay again if we are in Catania.
