I really don't understand why this hotel is ranked #1 on Traveloka. I booked it for that reason, but I was extremely disappointed upon arrival. In my opinion, the hotel doesn't deserve 5 stars. The interior is old and worn, the carpet looks very old and worn. The towels aren't pristine white, but rather a dull, faded white. The room is for three adults but only has one shower cap, no cotton swabs, no makeup remover pads… The quality of the toiletries, like toothbrushes, doesn't live up to 5-star standards. The showerhead still has calcium deposits instead of being shiny. There's no bidet next to the toilet. The brown, worn bedsheets look awful. It wouldn't even deserve 4 stars. The indoor children's play area is terrible. The staff directed us to the reading room on the second floor, but it only had Japanese and Korean books, no Vietnamese or English books. There was a lack of thoughtfulness; they should have mentioned it to avoid being disappointed after searching the entire room and finding nothing. When checking in, the staff didn't offer drinks; we had to get them ourselves. The room was unlocked with a key; it must have been a very old-fashioned type. It got stuck at first and took a while to open. The only positive point was that the room was spacious and the hotel grounds were also large. The food wasn't bad, but there were so few options that there was nothing to review, only basic dishes with nothing special: salad, bread, porridge, pho, noodles.

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Hanoi, I highly recommend this hotel. It offers not only comfort and convenience, but also an experience that captures the best of Vietnamese hospitality.

I am very impressed when staying at Diamond Westlake Suites because every time I come here, it feels like I am coming back to my own home, very warm and comfortable... and with the gym and amenities, every time I go to Hanoi, I want to come back to Diamond Westlake Suites. All is great, the problem is only the bed. It's too old already. Please change the bed with a new one and everything will be perfect.

They are so cheap. You have to pay for extra for towels or a baby cot. The rooms are so dim. The washing machine stopped working on the last day so we were left with wet.

I stayed one night with my two children in a suite room for family (two bed rooms). The property was old, the area huge though. Not very well maintained, creepy. Not so many staff for the huge area like that. The only good one maybe the swimming pool, but no staff in charge. I had to search around for the pool towel. I didn't take my breakfast because I had to fly early. So I asked them to prepare a take away-simple breakfast like I usually get from other hotels. That was very awful, not prepared professional and without drinks. I had to throw it away. For me the hotel was not worth the price. I won't come back and won't recommend.

The location of the apartment is great. Spacious and airy campus. This area has been built for more than 20 years, compressing rooms, corridors and common areas is very large. However, the service as a luxury hotel is not perfect: there is no welcome drink in the room, breakfast is quite small and sketchy ... But with quite a competitive price for a similar space, it is still places to experience while in Hanoi

We were very happy to stay at Diamonds Westlake Suites during labor vacation. My children enjoyed swimming pool and play ground too much.

Hotels bit far from the city center, but true getaway is ideal. Spacious room, living room, kitchen (fully equipped kitchen, washing machine ...), is the clothing area, bedroom, bathroom (with full bath and toilet facilities) ... KS with pool, gym, supermarket, children's play area. Hotel quiet and good security!
