I really don't understand why this hotel is ranked #1 on Traveloka. I booked it for that reason, but I was extremely disappointed upon arrival. In my opinion, the hotel doesn't deserve 5 stars. The interior is old and worn, the carpet looks very old and worn. The towels aren't pristine white, but rather a dull, faded white. The room is for three adults but only has one shower cap, no cotton swabs, no makeup remover pads… The quality of the toiletries, like toothbrushes, doesn't live up to 5-star standards. The showerhead still has calcium deposits instead of being shiny. There's no bidet next to the toilet. The brown, worn bedsheets look awful. It wouldn't even deserve 4 stars.
The indoor children's play area is terrible. The staff directed us to the reading room on the second floor, but it only had Japanese and Korean books, no Vietnamese or English books. There was a lack of thoughtfulness; they should have mentioned it to avoid being disappointed after searching the entire room and finding nothing. When checking in, the staff didn't offer drinks; we had to get them ourselves.
The room was unlocked with a key; it must have been a very old-fashioned type. It got stuck at first and took a while to open.
The only positive point was that the room was spacious and the hotel grounds were also large. The food wasn't bad, but there were so few options that there was nothing to review, only basic dishes with nothing special: salad, bread, porridge, pho, noodles.
