The best things about the place were the staff.....they were extremely helpful with any issue we had. The restaurant and lounge were very good. The complaints are we at first had a room overlooking the pool, we had to move it was so very noisy. We then moved to a quieter room. Both rooms were old. The bathroom door was warped and would not close properly. It was very surprising the rooms have no dresser drawers. We stayed 5 nights, where were we supposed to put our clothes with only 3 hangers each. They did bring us more hangers but we ended up having to put clothes on open shelves! The floors did not look clean although they did wash them, probably because they are old. I'm afraid we would not stay there again.

I really hate leaving bad reviews I'll start with that. And also the staff here was so kind and helpful, as much as they could be. The first room we were booked in had two queen beds and a pull out chair that turns into a small bed. The bottom part that holds up the folding mattress of this was broken. I had called in advance and asked about what sleeps five meant, and they said it could sleep about a 10 year old. When we get there and unfold it it's broken. You think they would have checked knowing that we were going to use it. So we check in, get moved to another room and everybody enjoys the water slides. Night one, room is hot and the AC is so loud and someone slams their door next to us or our bangs our door in the middle of the night so everybody wakes up once they finally falling asleep.. So sleeping proves difficult, we get a terrible sleep. Night 2, sleep is slightly better, I wake up and go to shower, find a cockroach. Proceed to clean up all my stuff and check out without dispute although they can't refund any time we've spent they won't charge us for what was going to be our third night there. You know they know it's a problem when within an hour you have all your stuff cleaned out and ready to go and there's already a pest control man sitting outside your door waiting to come spray. All this and the entire time we were there the lights were flickering every 2 to 3 minutes.

Elevator broke down

The experience was OK, but for a family friendly hotel they didn’t offer roll away beds. we booked one of their theme rooms, which was really cool, but asked for a cot and they told me they don’t offer and maybe next time book a room that has an extra sleeping space instead, but you think they’d have more sleeping space in their themed rooms which our design designed for families. Rooms were clean, but the pool bathrooms were disgustingly dirty

We didn’t get the room that we paid for, so that was quite disappointing. For $215 it was not worth it. It was outdated, room was dirty, lights were basically burning out. Not worth it for the price. Front desk people were friendly but we went down to go tell them we got the wrong room, there were so many people at the front desk that it would have made us late to our reservation.

Everything was great except the door to our room makes sound when we open it.

The Travelodge in Saskatoon is a great spot for families.. we booked one of the theme castle rooms and it was the highlight of our little girl's stay. Were there a couple things broken or not quite in the best shape? yes - but I told the front desk staff and they went to fix it straight away. staff in the restaurant were warm and friendly, accommodating to our little girl. The waterpark is a great way to spend some downtime. For a reasonably priced budget hotel we were very pleased. We'll definitely stay again.

We paid $220 for one night. The room we got had paint peeling off of the walls and all the furniture looked to be on its last leg. The cleanliness was okay, but when everything is worn down it just looks dirty. The front desk staff were very nice! I just think with the shape of the hotel they should not be charging that much. Not worth the money.

Great staff, clean room, great swimming for kids ! Highly recommend.

The hotel was great! I travelled with my elderly parents and my 5-year old. We stayed in the space room. The room was roomy and comfortable for the family. As read in previous reviews, the hotel is a bit dated, but generally well maintained. Our room was clean. The space room was a real hit with my son, he loved falling asleep "under the stars". The pool area was the real feature of this hotel. There are 2 separate areas. Our room was right off the splash pad and deep pool, which as very quiet. The waterslide area was separate a really great time. Impossible not to have a great time there. The height requirement for the waterslide is 40 inches so my son was able to go up and down all day by himself, while I watched from the hot tub with my parents. The hallways were loud and the people above us were loud...it didn't bother me, but my mom woke up a few times from the noise. We will definitely be staying there again! I stayed there when I was kid 40 years ago, and happy to have memories there again with my kid!

great stay

We enjoyed our stay with our young son! Our theme room was cute, and quiet considering we had a window overlooking the pool. We spent most of our time in the waterslide pool and it was fun. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. Parking was simple.

I would not stay here it was very dirty and the sheets looked dirty and stained. Stairwell in lot c smelled terrible and the location seemed like a maze and location was hard to get to.

Bathroom was unclean, hair on the walls/ceiling, stain on towel tag, hair dryer was full of lint etc. Water pressure was low and the temperature was fluctuating between lukewarm and boiling hot. The floor was cement and was not comfortable to walk on without shoes. The only curtains that closed fully were sheer which let in a lot of light from the pool/restaurant area. Bed frame also had dirt marks/scuffs on it. Room just generally felt a but unclean. I informed the staff upon checking out and was told they would leave a note for housekeeping, no apology. Was not relaxing stay.

The theme rooms are really well decorated and fun for the kids

Walked in their was a cockroach soon as walked in lobby noway i was staying there brought it to their attention at desk they were rude to me so kids and I left

Stayed at the property primarily for the pool, which was great fun for the kids but the room is dark, needs updating, and definitely not worth $172. Without a pool this would be very bad value.
