Great property and staff

Just a wonderful place to spend a few nights

Beautiful house, garden and pool. Bright large room and private balcony. Great patio for dining and having a glass of wine. Walking distance to various restaurants, bakeries etc in town

I wish I could live there! A beautiful hotel with stunning grounds and wonderful service.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and assisted me with a few last-minute problems (a broken earring, a wrinkled dress) with grace and speed. The food in the restaurant was fabulous. Altogether peaceful and lovely.

This historic Château has undergone major renovation, and the designer did a phenomenal job! Everything was sparkling and amazingly tastefully decorated. The outdoor space was also redesigned and is just so peaceful! The staff is extremely attentive. Breakfast was wonderful, and the chef prepared a very creative, delicious dinner, allof it served in this stunning setting.

A very comfortable hotel with lots of old world charm yet up to date conveniences. The pools are is great and the on site secure parking a bonus. As the former home of the Marquee de Sade, the current operators have managed to meld old & new tastefully

Everyone was welcoming and friendly- we loved the beautiful Chateau and gardens.

The room was beautiful and the amenities were plentiful. The breakfast each morning was delightful. The grounds were amazing. The courtyard area just outside the entrance was a peaceful setting with running fountain in the background. The pool downstairs was refreshing and there we leaned to play pétanque. Staff spoke a bit of English, some more than others, and they were all so very friendly. We even delighted in conversation with some of the friendly international guests. There’s a working garden that the chef came down to cut fresh herbs for his delicious meals.

This property is downright STUNNING. The staff is amazing, helpful, and so nice. I wish we would have had more time there, but we were on a crazy schedule. We will be back again!

Avg.not too bad

Pretty chateau but the best part about it is the dinner. The hotel gourmet restaurant was rewarded a michelin star but unfortunately was closed. However this alternative restaurant served the most amazing meal of our trip. We stayed at 6 hotels in our week trip and this is by far the best dinner we ever had. It even beat Monaco's Hermitage hotel Michelin star restaurant. You cannot give the dinner a miss. The server, a blonde man was also wonderful. He was very hardworking and attentive. Overall great service from him. Kudos to him for making the experience wonderful

The staff is amazing as the location and the food.we had a small problem.with the AC but it was taken care of. I definitely recommend the hotel

Bien et propre et bon personnel

It is a pretty property, a beautiful castle. Nice looking gardens and pool.

The property was beautiful but we had a bit of surprise when shown our room. There was only a bathtub NO shower. My 6’4” husband was challenged to keep the water contained inside the bathtub! Otherwise it was great! Good food, clean, good location.

The hotel had great character. From the front, it blended in with the other buildings along the narrow street but once inside the pool and garden area made it feel like you were away from everything. The room was large, clean and comfortable though the bed could have been a little softer for my taste. Our only negative was a fire alarm at 0400 that turned out to be a false alarm; not the wake-up call we were wanting! :) The artwork and feel of the entire property was very different from the norm and made for a great stay.
