Clean room but air conditioner was way too loud. Heater did not turn off. No where to walk dog to pee without walking far

Clean inside and out, friendly staff (not just front desk staff - everyone), great location, good noise isolation from street, pet friendly, and wonderful smelling hand soap.

The room was very dirty, there was hairs on the towels and the beds, we had to call and get someone to come change our sheets before we slept in the bed ! There was also sand in the bed and blood on the pillow cases I’m fairly certain the room wasn’t cleaned from the previous guest before us! There we spills on the surfaces. The parking was good. We tried to use the hot tub but the door wouldn’t open. The staff we barely seen as there is no front desk in this hotel you have to go next door to check in or out, the cleaner that came to change our sheets was very nice and understanding! Overall if the hotel was kept up on cleanliness I would stay here again, however because it was so dirty I would not return unless some changes have been made

Our 3 time staying here, our go to place in banff

Staff was quite rude when we got there when we tried to check in early (we knew the room wouldn’t be ready we more so wanted to ask about parking) got quite irritated when we asked and I explained we didn’t want the room just parking. The hotel is pretty run down and the ac in the rooms are so loud we turned it off but the room got way too hot so we had a bad sleep but as a comfortable temperature I guess. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Outdated but clean. We stayed in a suite with no closet or desk. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good—about a 10-minute walk to the main area. It was a bit noisy since it’s right on Banff Avenue, and you could hear people talking or yelling as they passed by. Overall, it was worth the money since I didn’t want to stay in Canmore.

This hotel is a bit tired, but adequate. The standard rooms are small and may look out on busy Banff Ave. The hot tub is great though! Staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is very well located for walking around Banff.

The dead bolt to our rook didn’t function. Otherwise the stay was more that sufficient!

Room was clean. Staff was polite, but front desk for check-in was in another building in Irwin hotel, so a short was required. In total everything was good.

We love the Red Carpet for our winter ski trips. It’s always super affordable and the superior kind/queen rooms are really cool. Vaulted ceilings, comfy beds and if you’re lucky, a balcony with mountain views. It doesn’t have the big fancy lobby and amenities like some of the other much pricier hotels in Banff but, we like to go out and about in Banff so, this cool clean little spot is perfect for us. Easy walking distance to downtown and free parking. Can’t beat the price vs quality on this one.

Was quiet and clean

Heat didn’t work in both rooms the first night. Elevator broke the second day. We checked out early.

Perfect location
