Room was great and heating worked well. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices and were different on the second morning and done was overseeing all the hot and cold trays to make sure they remained stocked.

The breakfast variety was good. Fruit bowl was excellent. A few more healthy option would make it better (ie. plain Greek yogurt).

The staff were excellent and very friendly. Laundry was a nice touch. The breakfast and the breakfast staff were excellent. Best of all was the location. Perfect for walking everywhere. Would stay here again.

Breakfast always excellent, fast internet. Beds could be replaced and parking fees $20 night for unsecured parking are unreasonable. Great location always clean

Unique little hotel in a great location. We loved the cathedral ceiling in our room, the balcony and the renovated bathroom was wonderful. The hot breakfast was one of the highlights of each of the four days we were at the Embassy. I suggest allowing hotel guests to take small things like tea bags, fruit and muffins up to their rooms. It feels a bit like guests are policed by the kitchen/wait staff at breakfast.

My family’s favorite hotel for vacations! It’s a great hotel with friendly staff, beautiful views, and many tourist attractions within walking distance. Plenty of buses nearby, so it’s very convenient to get around. Very enjoyed the breakfast — the dining hall is spacious and classy.

Clean rooms. Great staff. Good quiet location close to downtown Victoria. Even though renovations are occurring no issues in the quiet hours. Recommended.

Found a few long hairs in the bathroom but other than that it was a nice stay. Delicious breakfast

Good breakfast, clean room, and staff are very nice.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was good and linens were nice. It had a kettle and coffee maker, microwave and good sized bar fridge. Suited our needs perfectly. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, muffins, eggs, bacon. Our favourite was the waffle machines. Easy peasy and delicious. Reno’s were happening but didn’t affect the quality of our stay. Parking was a bit tight but we managed in a Ford F150. Seeing the deer on the lawn in the morning was a highlight.

The fact that the rooms were under construction, you should have waived the parking fee. The parking spots were not great either. Some were not accessible and others were tight.

There were renovations occurring but with minimal disruption and very pleasant construction crew in place. We are repeat guests…. Great staff and location!

This is a fairly average property. You shouldn’t expect anything exceptional. It would be a good fit for a 3-star hotel

All is good except for the construction. But we were warned before hand. Still a great stay!
