It was fine but very dated and very expensive for the quality of the room.

One night bed and breakfast stay. Excellent facilities including both indoor and outdoor pools with spa facilities. Very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The only slight criticism was the bathroom could do with a refurbishment. (Room 18). We choose to have an evening meal at the ferryman pub, just a short walk away but the cooked breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

Property is in a good location and the grounds are lovely. The rooms are very dated and need refurbishment as they don’t look like the photos and are much older. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Helpful, friendly staff apart from the staff in the leisure centre who looked and appeared pretty miserable. Rooms need an upgrade as they look tired but they were adequate for the stay.

Sadly very dissapointed. The hotel outside is very rundown. I was shocked that the pictures on the sight was absolutely not true to the reality of where we slept. I had an upgrade which I paid for only to find that it was a room interleading to another room and was so noisy. The doors were broken and just so run down. Very very dissapointed.

Excellent location, very near to IOW ferries and perfect for exploring the New Forest. Room was outside main hotel building and was clean and comfortable. Had a couple of small issues which were dealt with very quickly and efficiently.

Not explained that access was via outside balcony door, and with 2 keys only 1 worked on 1 door. Inside, found another locked door, so thought 2nd key was to a central corridor, perhaps? Neither of the 2 keys worked. Again, had not been explained that door was to an adjoining room, no key provided because we had not booked the adjoining room. Room otherwise comfortable, although positioning of TV not ideal for viewing from LHS of bed. Map provided useful, although did not highlight access to (unsignposted) Solent Restaurant for breakfast was through the Fitness Centre. I wonder how often the fitness team are asked to confirm access through “their” reception…

Overall slightly dissapointed in this hotel. Not to the high standard one would expect from a Macdonalds hotel. Needs investment in upkeep. Room comfortable, but bathroom door delaminating due to overspray from shower, carpet needed spot cleaning, steps up to deck level need to have anti-slip strips replaced, deck needs maintenance/painting. Pathways around property could do with pressure wash clean. Limited menu in main restaurant. Excellent breakfast. We used and enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym, but the changing rooms are tired and in need of a refurbishment/upgrade. Staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel with great surroundings. Option of Spa and pool. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Ideally place for walking to I.O.W. ferry for a day trip to the Island. New Forrest attractions within easy reach.

Stayed here before…some years ago with Voyage Privé in main hotel. Have visited since but needed relaxing 3 night break in this unique location ….would have stayed longer but fully booked. So close to Lymington , which we favour of all these local New Forest centres , enhanced by immediate maritime vista and activities at base of main lawn. No of benches to sit ,relax and enjoy. Ferry to IOW short walk away …next time Osborne Ho. We chose a pleasant suite close to pool, spa and breakfast facilities. Staff seemed mostly very helpful especially initial young lady receptionist and duty night manager second day. Interesting mix of diverse accommodation ,courtyards of apartments, small houses and hotel itself… hadn’t appreciated that during original stay. Reported as fully booked but with extensive grounds etc wasn’t aware of that. Respectful guests so tranquil . Strongly recommend unless you favour being within a lively town . Elmers Court is well worth considering. We shall certainly return.

We loved the location of the property. The grounds and outdoor swimming pool were beautiful. We requested a first floor room and received a ground floor. The dinner was meh and for the money I would have expected more. Service was great. Fault lies with the kitchen. Would return but probably not eat dinner there again.

Lovely settings and period hotel, great facilities, food is good albeit a little pricey, rooms could do with updating. But generally quiet and very good amenities.

This hotel is very pretty and the grounds are very pretty. However it needs a serious refurbishment. Everything in the rooms are a bit tired. Almost no outlets to charge your things. Took forever to get things. We were there when it was especially hot and it took three phone calls and four hours to get a fan. Our Nespresso had no pods. I called room service and they told me to call the front desk. I called three times and no one ever answered the phone.
