The photo does not show the real picture. If I had seen the outside ether actual rooms would not have booked. The restaurant is closed on the weekends. This is a two star at best not a three star as advertised.

Lovely quiet hotel with everything you’d need for a travel stopover. Tired in parts but that’s only a problem if you have items to hang up. Safe location. I was on a motorcycle and wasn’t worried about anyone messing with it. Lovely friendly staff.

We booked a Campanile because the evening meals are usually good...disappointed to find you close the restaurant on a weekend. We had to go and find somewhere to eat which defeated the object of booking a Campanile. You have a problem with little flies (and spiders). Fortunately I brought a "plug-in" which killed the little flies. Some of the residents were very noisy. Not good.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room very clean. It was a useful base to get to other areas.

Nice Campanile. Very friendly staff. We traveled with our little dog and they gave us a ground floor room that faced a green which was pretty handy.

Great size bed and a good firm mattress, a good location near to shopping center and resterants, the center is a short drive.

Sorry we couldn't get the half board deal as we hadn't booked it in advance. This was a little frustrating and misleading.

Room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and fairly basic. Having said that had all you need for an overnight stop.

Have stayed here before. Always happy with staff and facilities. However chambermaid did wake us at 9am.

When going to ask for extra milk the receptionist was fast asleep in the restaurant- and it took two customers 5 minutes to wake him up :-(

Nice approach to Vire from autoroute via 'green' road. Vire itself worth a visit. Pleasant enough site with tables and chairs outside. Close to car showrooms. Good evening meal, but arrive early since dining room can accomodate large coach parties. Excellent breakfast. Hotel generally well maintained and smart, but some of the access stairs could do with some TLC.
