Great hotel. Our room was very big with a huge bed. The bathroom was a good size with both bath and shower. Everything was very clean. Great central location, 5-10 minute walk to city centre shopping arcades, restaurants and bars. Conveniently there is a multi-storey car park opposite (formerly NCP), where you can get discounted parking with a code from hotel reception. Spa facilities available; pool, and spa treatments, showers and changing rooms. Huge dining room with a delicious evening menu, and breakfast. The bar is great if you don’t fancy a late night out in town, cocktail menu, good draught selection and friendly staff. Could possibly do with some snacks/nibbles, such as crisps, nuts etc. It was our second visit and we’ll definitely return. Highly recommend.

Super-friendly, but professional staff. Great location for the centre of Cardiff. Shower and bathroom facilities were great. It was a great price for such a spacious room and access to a swimming pool. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was nice lots of children made it loud The jacuzzi was like warm no pad locks so had to leave valuables in locked not really four star experience We were offered a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch Lost its charm good location though Car park with 25% discount was £45 for one and half days expensive

We had a lovely stay for Cardiff pride. Great black out curtains. Made use of the pool. Complimentary water in reception.

Lovely hotel, room spotless but a little bit tired considering what you pay. However a really good hotel and would not hesitate in staying again. Staff very helpful and super friendly. 25% off the NCP opposite which is needed as it’s a very pricing car park

The staff were really accommodating for a last minute booking including providing interconnected rooms. I actually requested rooms on the same floor but the interconnected was offered and was perfect!

Fabulous stay.

This was a great hotel for many reasons. The staff was very friendly including Omar at breakfast, the trainee receptionist gentleman and receptionist lady and David at the bar. The gym is the best I’ve seen - very extensive over two floor with a very wide range of equipment. It also has an amazing pool and spa. Only the breakfast quality was average but decent for the price. Room was great but better sound proofing needed. Very good location - heart of the city. Overall, it was excellent - would love to stay there again. It’s worth the price.

Already knew and liked the Park Plaza brand. Cardiff’s Park Plaza exceeded our expectations. Staff all excellent, room comfortable. Grabbed a quick pre-theatre meal and wow - it was superb in eveyway (taste, presentation and value for money). A La Carte looked good too and we took a desert from there. Big shout out to George who led his team well - especially as a couple were on there first shifts…

Very clean hotel but looking a bit tired now, really thinking it needs a bit of a spruce up, upgrade in the rooms. Chipped cabinets, old worn furniture. Quite dated rooms for the park plaza brand. Comfy bed and excellent location so would stay again for this alone, Lovely welcome at check in, asked our plans we said we were dining out and were going to a local food feastival and the guy there gave us two vouchers for complimentary drinks he said “have a drink on us either on the way out or on your way home” which we thought was a lovely touch. Until trying to redeem them at the bar. It does state on the vouchers that the drinks are if you’re dining in the hotel but thought maybe that was an oversight as we’d clearly told the guy at reception our plans. We were planning on having a drink before heading out anyway but it was quite an awkward exchange with the gentleman at the bar who was quite rude and dismissive We were made to feel like we were trying it on/making up what the guy in reception had said. Perhaps reception need some training in this or re wording as there was another couple at the bar under the same impression,

The spa and pool seemed old fashioned and there were no robes provided to make it easy to use the facilities. We only used the pool once and would've used it more.

Late booking on the hottest day of the year! Pool was lovely and breakfast was best I’ve had in a while.

Had a wonderful stay and all the staff were so helpful. The location was perfect and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good.
