I’m going to be honest The decor… it is seaside town - old regal building style and not the most fragrant. But the location, the size of the rooms and its staff - takes the rating up. It was clean and tidy - exceptionally placed for the BIC and a very lively bar underneath, which is great to continue the night after a gig. For the price. Exceptional. Staff - lovely. Friendly, patient when dealing with crowds and things that need some attention, Would I stay again - yes I would. Thank you.

One of the reasons for Booking was the free WiFi but there was no connectivity on the third floor. Very difficult to sleep as the hotel incorporated a bar/nightclub on the ground floor.

I asked if we could have a late check booked, which is £10 an hour, so we paid £20 to check out at 1pm, but at 12.15, the housekeeper was knocking on the door, I said we weren't ready, but still came back and knocked again 10 minutes later, we booked a late checkout for a reason.

check in was straight forward though you will need to pay £15.00 to park which is not the end of the world parking is secure bedroom was big only a short walk to the pier and beach also there is live entertainment friday and saturday currently which we enjoyed benefits of being a resident overall a great expereince would recommend

A good quality hotel at a reasonable price. 1min walk to BIC and less than 5min to the Pavilion. I have stayed here twice and have no complaints. This is my hotel of choice when attending these venues. Just be warned that they have a nightclub which is open some nights and this can be heard on the top floor.

hotel is dated, windows, glass is literally falling outta rotting wooden frames, plumbing is noisy, full of air blocks, and all main staircases are outdated and creaky ! showers are hit and miss with no pressure in some whilst others are dangerously hot !

I stayed 1 night . It was directly opposite the Theatre which is what I came for and an easy walk into town. The Hotel was busy with live music for those who like a lively evening. I was on a higher floor so I slept ok. Pleasant and helpful staff.

We were placed in a room directly above the Disco. We arrived back from dinner quite late and did our best to put up with the noise. At one point the teaspoons were resonating on the saucers! It got to about 12:30 in the morning before we complained; in hindsight we should have done it much sooner. The chap on reception said there was nothing he could do so I asked to speak to the duty manager. I was told he was too busy to speak to me and we should’ve had some correspondence to explain that this particular room was noisy. I didn't recall seeing any correspondence but I checked nevertheless. Our booking was with Expedia/Hotels.com and no information from them. Also, no email correspondence directly from the Hotel either. I made my way down to the reception and demanded to speak to someone in person. Eventually, another manager arrived who was very helpful, and directed us to an alternative room on the third floor, which really was very nice. Such a shame, because the hotel is lovely and everyone we dealt with earlier in the day were very nice. The moral of this story; do you watch out for those handful of rooms that are either above or around the area of the Disco because they are extremely noisy. If you do get caught out, you must put your foot down politely with the Hotel management, because otherwise you may be left where you are.

Be aware that there is a bar that stays open until 4am on the premises, and it can easily prevent sleep. The night I stayed it sounded like raccoons going at it in a trash can full of broken glass all night long.

The hotel is located opposite the Bournemouth International Centre which is handy if you are going to a concert like us. Our room (306) very dated but clean. The TV was very small and the remote (filthy) didn’t work even though reception replaced the batteries. The bar was not open for us to use on the first night so we went to The Sun pub only 30 seconds away which was great. The bath in the bathroom was raised and although both of us are tall we still had a struggle stepping up into it. We then found ourselves with the shower head at only chest height. The mirror in the bathroom was also a chest height. The hairdryer must have been 20 yrs old. Sockets were hidden so we had to moved furniture to plug in phone chargers. Just a little bit of thought would sort all these issues.

Room needs another socket for phone charging maybe a usb style socket,and sink has been squeezed into room as shower room was to small,toilet seat was loose and needed wobbling to stay up,also the radiator bar is to close to the toilet and I accidentally touched it with my leg whilst on toilet.There is an ironing board but I couldn't find an iron. Hotel is in an excellent location, very central to everything from the beach, gardens, theatre's etc.

Hotel was a disaster; staff is unhelpful in all ways possible. Just a horrible experience
