The floors were dirty, furniture dusty, one of the towels was stained, and the room smelled musty. The cable was not working and when I went to the lobby, I was told it was because of the rain… The woman at the reception was dismissive and rude. Booking this place was a mistake

Where to start… check in- showed up at 2:52 and check in started at 3. I told the woman that we were a couple minutes early and she was freaking out about “not having enough time for rooms to get done” and so on. So I waited until 3:10 to give her a few to chill… then there was a $100 deposit that’s “refundable”- still waiting for that back…. She asked me why we were in town, which personally I’d rather not have to explain myself as are you waiting for my rom to be empty while I’m not there?? We finally get upstairs…. There are paint/hole patches ALL over the whole place. The drawers in the kitchenette were broken, so were the doors under the sink. The floors were dirty, and so was under the bed. We found a runny duly underneath, which proved it wasn’t cleaned underneath. As I inspected the bed (I always do and check for bugs when we stay places) we found hair in the bed… the there was either a band aide or breathrite nose strip and more hair in the tub in the bathroom…. GROSS. I didn’t even want to sit in the office chair as it had god only Knows WHAT on the seat. There was a very musty, gross smell in the whole room. We will NEVER stay there again. When we got back from the concert at midnight, I almost wanted to go to the hotel next door and get a room instead. When booking, just because it’s cheaper by $40, DEFINITELY doesn’t mean it’s better. Pay the extra. I took pictures of all of it.

The woman at check in was fantastic. Remember to ask fornthe coffee pot and some mugs at checknin, nothing is in your room except towels and guest soap. If you will use the fold out sofa, remember to ask for sheet set. None of this will be in the room.

Administration was very stingy with breakfast. Breakfast was supposed to be included. But, when I went there (on time) there was only granola bars and coffee. There were two baskets designed to hold breads. But they were empty. Then the manager threw in four pieces of muffins into the baskets while complaining that everyone is taking too many muffins. I was probably the first or second to show up at the breakfast table. I don’t think anyone had a chance to take muffins before me. Toilet in my room moves when someone sits on it. Shower curtains were too short to stay inside the tub. I paid high price because of the name “Extended Stay America”. But this hotel is a disgrace to that name. It is not worth the price I paid.

This hotel is an absolute dump. Everything is filthy; the floors, the carpets, the elevator which is often marked with spit. The place is home to recovering drug addicts, alcoholics, and prostitutes. The bathroom sink has mold and mildew around the rim of the bowl. The bathtub was not clean and the shower curtain was gone. They had no spares to lend me. I have posted pictures to enlighten you. Walls and doors have been punched and kicked. The kitchen stove burners are black with soot, Kitchen draws have been torn out. It is a complete disaster and the staff knows it. A young couple had checked in with a baby. The baby usually crawls on the floor but the mother said that the floor was filthy. The woman at the front desk said "the only thing I can do is give you a mop and a bucket!!!" Seriously, that was insane. Third world country hotels are better that this place.

When arrive front desk staff stated that they did not have any rooms available due to low staff. The front desk attempted was a bit ride and did not care that we came from so far. She did not try to cancel my reservation, and wanted me to call to request a cancellation. Overall very bad customer. service!.

I had booked and confirmed via Expedia about three weeks back. When i went to check in, the front desk person just told me they had no rooms to allocate. Extended stay America Waltham - will never ever book. Added to that is the bad unprofessional behaviour by the front desk at night. Did not show basic courtesy of respecting someone who had a confirmed room about three weeks back.

Arrived at night with family to find that our room smelled of humidity and carpet was wet all over. Informed front desk and was told no rooms available, nothing they could do so was given a towel and spray bottle when cleaning agent. Sofa bed didn't have its mattress. Breakfast was very minimal. Overall not a great experience

The good: The bed was comfortable and the tv and refrigerator worked. Ice nope. Fork, plates, cups, nope. Are the cabinets attached? Some of them. Toilet in one piece? Nope. The least expensive option on 4th of July weekend felt like just that.

This should be your last resort. I’ve stayed here twice. The first time was okay — the room had a broken table and couch, but it did the job, and the front desk lady was nice and even waived a fee. The second stay was terrible. The room smelled strongly of cat urine, and one day there was no hot water — I had to take a cold shower. They advertise “grab-and-go breakfast” from 6 to 10 AM, but there was nothing available. There wasn’t even a front desk person around to ask — just a sign saying they’d be back soon. You get what you pay for, I guess — but I wouldn’t stay here again.
