Nice relaxing hotel

Elite Hotel Martenson is situated in old town Halmstad and walkable from the train station. The central location provides easy access to restaurants, parks, cultural events, public facilities and a short bicycle ride to a beautiful beach. The hotel itself was very quaint, well maintained and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The restaurants on site provided another excellent amenity. Although we did not get a chance to use the gym it was probably one of the best equipped we’ve seen

A really nice and hospitable hotel located in a nice walking district with access to restaurants and shops as well as the historic city gate. The on premises restaurant Franz Bistro and the Cafe were excellent! The bar was also very nice. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. My only suggestion is a note on booking sites and reservation email that the address of the hotel is not on a drivable street. GPS brings you to the rear of the hotel and it's not apparent where to go. I ended up calling to get instruction.

Was a great property in an excellent local. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Rooms needs updating and in room coffee.

This property was located in a perfect place for anyone visiting Halmstead for the first time. Unfortunately, upon our check out the front desk gal was pretty rude. The beauty of the experience of this beautiful hotel was diminished by her attitude.

Our group of 10 from the U.S all stayed there. We hosted a memorial luncheon for my sister with 40 guests attending. I had been arranging it for the last few months with various staff members via email from the the U.S. All were helpful, accommodating and prompt in replying to all questions and arrangements. The luncheon was beautifully arranged and the food was delicious. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for everything and everyone! Thank you for making this trip and event perfect. Eva Harvick

I’m 72 . I’ve been in a lot of hotels in my travels,& without a hesitation people make the difference,& the martenson left us with the best experience . The entire staff!

The breakfast each morning was superb. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit confusing, however there are public parking lots within a short walk of the hotel in two directions. Of note, the Hotel does not have it's own parking, however that's not really an issue. Plenty of choices in the area to dine, some cool attractions within a short walk, beautiful area along the Nissan river with multiple parks and hiking trails close by.

Som udgangspunkt ok. Vi havde bestilt 2 ens værelser, men det ene var meget større end det andet. Der var en sofa, som stod total malplaceret og var blot en irritation. TV tændte af sig selv om natten og var ikke til at slukke ved de første forsøg

Fint och rent hotell, bra service

Glöm inte att be om ett rum mot Nissan. I alla fall under helgerna. Jag fick ett rum mot gatan och det var ett sanslöst liv fram till 04.00.

Väldiga fina rum och väldigt bra sängar. Trångt och mörkt på frukosten och mycket tog slut

Det var bara en sak som störde oss och det var avsaknaden av ledstång i den halvtrappa som fanns i korridoren mellan hiss och rum. Personer med nedsatt syn har stora problem där och då speciellt med den extremt mönstrade mattan..

Bara sådär toppen ett hotell någonsin kan bli. Allt från personalens fingertoppskänsla för service till mat och dryck håller högsta klass.

Fantastisk service ved innsjekk og alle ganger jeg hadde med betjeningen å gjøre. Beliggenheten er jo en drøm. Og rommene var fine og kjempe god å deilig seng. Jeg kan høyest anbefale dette hotellet. Jeg bor her garantert neste gang jeg er i Halmstad. Hilsen fornøyd nordmann på tur.

Fint Hotel med go beliggenhed. Skøn morgenmads buffet med stort udvalg. Desværre er der meget lydt. Dørene smækker tungt og vi kunne tydeligt høre tale og tv fra værelserne tæt på.

Hotellet ligger väldigt centralt.,nära till allt. Fina och trevliga rum. Bra service. Bra frukost. Restaurangen mysig och mycket god mat. Bra parkerings möjligheter i närheten. Återkommer med säkerhet.
