Great stay. Very good service. Clean and comfortable. Great location

Convenient location. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel does not own a gym. The gym charges EUR 15 to use. Very inconvenient. I would normally let everything go, but one waitress, in her late fourties, with a man`s haircut, grey hair was very rude and this is totally unforgiveable in a service industry. She also attacked us verbally in the parking garage. I stayed at the hotel with my wife and son. I own my own business, if one of my staff members would do this to our customers, this employee would be terminated immediately. I hope this honest review will be published and management will take action.

Great hotel, perfect location and great Breakfast. Easy staff interactions and brilliant rooms.

The location is great. It is easy to walk to St. Michael church and the mall. There are lots of dining and shopping options nearby.

The staff was terrific! The room was spacious and clean. We loved the use of the laundry, as well. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hamburg.

The Madison Hotel is a very nice, easy accessible hotel in the heart of Hamburg’s Altstadt (old city). The hotel was impeccably clean, the staff super friendly and willing to help with any questions. Our room was spacious and ready upon our arrival. The hotel has onsite parking and the Madison phase a partnership with the fitness center directly next door. We visited the gym twice and were beyond impressed with their facility. We also ordered room service one evening from the on site restaurant, and the food was delicious and delivered to our room in very timely manner. We would definitely stay at The Madison again and would highly recommend it for all the reasons stated.

the staff at every level was wonderful. We stayed for 5 nights so having a washer and dryer down the hall (at no cost was super helpful) since we were traveling for a month. There is an onsite restaurant which is convenient but so many other options for more interesting dining. It is not right in the center of old town but short and easy walking distance to the old town and MANY other interesting attractions. We would come back here.

It was a wonderful hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location to explore the city. The staff were very attentive and we enjoyed dinner twice in the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel!!

This was a lovely hotel and the staff were wonderful. The room was lovely and having the kitchenette allowed us to cater for ourselves. I highly recommend this hotel.

This property is in an area that promotes walking as most places you want to see & do are mostly within 20 mins. The Jr. Suite was large & well equipped. The bed was very comfortable plus they give you a pillow menu. It was equipped w/a 2 burner stove, a mini fridge, glassware, flatware & dishes were provided. Also provided was a coffee maker. The breakfast buffet is well worth the 26 euro, but you could also order off a menu. The selection was beyond what I normally get w/an included breakfast. Staff were very helpful. I definitely would stay at the Madison again if I get back to Hamburg.

Rooms are much nicer than the photos suggest. Exceptional service. The Hamburg duck is such a quaint idea. Rituals toiletries. In a quiet part of Hamburg but close to all the tourist parts a short walk away. Perfect location.
