We felt mislead by the pictures on Expedia. It looked amazing and it said it was a 4 star resort. It was neither. We literally looked for other hotels to move to in the middle of the night because they had a pool party that was so noisy. The room was absolutely horrendous. The suite had two levels. The living floor’s ac did not work and they could not fix it. The lower level felt like a dungeon. The only positive is that the front desk people (we dealt with two) were nice and tried their best. It felt like they were alone in there. We did not see any other staff at all. Overall, We had a horrible experience there and we absolutely feel mislead and robbed of our money.

I stayed here to have access to the Franciacorta winery area of Italy. It is extremely peaceful and quiet. And everything I wanted to see was close by.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Our meal in the restaurant was exquisite, as was the service. Great choice for breakfast. A thoroughly enjoyable experience in a tranquil setting. Very close to bus number 9 to travel into Brescia centre.

I was disappointed that when I booked this stay (through hotels.com, not through the hotel directly) that there was no communication that the spa and all spa associated services weren’t open that week. It was a shame because it was literally the only reason why I booked this place.

The stay was fantastic, the swimming pool amazing as well as the restaurant. Only negative we were told on the first day that we couldn’t eat at the restaurant. They should count people in by default. It also rained on the first morning and it the spa was not available.

Wonderful location with Italian charme in tranquil countryside setting. Spacious suites present an excellent value, friendly and helpful staff. Our stay was during COVID-19 and the Spa closed. We plan to come back to enjoy Wellness program.

On checkin we were advised that we would incur an additional 180 Euro charge to use the advertised pool. Customer care was extremely poor. All the manager was interested in discussing was the % he had to pay Expedia for our booking.

A very beautiful hotel with a lovely outside area. Secluded and quiet. The staff were excellent and the food at the onsite restaurant was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

I don't know how many times I have to repeat in my reviews that the most important parts of a hotel stay are pretty much when the guest arrives, and when they leave. A bad experience at departure tarnishes even the best stay. In truth, this is a nice hotel - but although we got a weird email from the hotel the day before we arrived, they didn't bother to tell us (1) that it would be a good idea to book dinner [by the time we arrived they were full] and (2) that there would be a charge for using the swimming pool even though it is featured in the publicity photos and no extra charge is mentioned in the listing. So when we left and we were charged EUR 100 extra for swimming twice in the pool, I was (justifiably) angry. Adding insult to injury it took about half an hour to check out. My advice: if you're going to stay, make sure you check on the extras because that was like 50% of the cost of the entire stay for us, as an unexpected "bonus". These sorts of charges are despicable.

We HD a lovely stay..,the rooms were lovely, the hotel setting is beautiful and very peaceful as it is a former monestry. The pool and the restaurant were exclusive and perfect.

Nice B&B type of hotel, quaint country side feel to it -staff was amazing -friendly and informative! Made our visit for Christo exhibit very pleasant

the place was pleasant and receptionist was nice. however, the rest of the staff are a little hostile. due to jet lag, overslept. check out was 11am, they called at 11.50am. knocked on the door at 12noon and insisted we leave within 10mins or they start charging.. i asked for a further 10min, and the guy replied with a stern NO.

A very calm and serene environment. Get to breakfast on time as if things run out they may not get replenished.

Das Hotel Santellone befindet sich in einer wunderbaren Lage, sehr ruhig, am Rand der Stadt Brescia, in der Nähe eines Waldes. Es war einmal ein Kloster, deshalb die Lage und das majestätische Gebäude, mit Baümen und Pflanzen um herum. Wir hatten aber das Gefühl von einem Hotel, das in den letzten Zeiten nicht mehr gut gepflegt wurde. Sauberkeit: kein Problem, total sauber. Die Möbel sahen aber alt aus, zum Teil beschädigt. Der Wellness war leider zu für Renovation. Kompliziert das Reinkommen zu Fuss: das automatische Tor öffnete sich nur mit dem Auto, zu Fuss musste man die Reception anrufen, um eintreten zu können. Frühstück: sehr gut und vielfältig. Frühstückssaal zu klein am Wochenende. Keine Läden in der Nähe. Wir haben mitbekommen, dass die neue Führung erst seit 3 Wochen das Hotel führte und hat noch viel Arbeit vor sich, um das Hotel an einem richtigen Niveau zu bringen, damit die offiziellen 4 Sterne wirklich stimmen.

Wunderschöne Anlage, sehr gepflegt, ruhige Lage einfaches aber sehr entspanntes Frühstück auf einer schönen Aussenterasse

Struttura oggettivamente bella, ma tenuta malissimo. Personale gentile ma non incisivo a dare risposta ai nostri reclami assolutamente leciti. Dopo aver prenotato inviano una mail dalla struttura dove dicono che la spa e' chiusa per ristrutturazione e la piscina e' a pagamento (cosa assurda e mai vista in altre strutture) . Organizzazione pessima e personale piscina totalmente inopportuno (hanno chiesto 3 volte se avevamo pagato). Non consiglio... Giro molto e non ho mai visto mancanze simili ai strutture che si fanno anche pagare profumatamente.
