The hotel is in a great location but there is no air conditioning so the room was extremely hot. Tried to sleep with the window open but then it was loud. Beds were a little uncomfortable too. The breakfast buffet in the morning was amazing though.

Varm velkomst i resepsjonen, lite, men koselig rom. Helt topp for en natts besøk. Smakfullt og koselig både rom og bad. Hyggelig service i baren i 9 etasje, og god frokost hos Egon. For ikke å forglemme, sentral beliggenhet, nært til alt i Lillehammer.

It might be hot in summer as no AC in the room

This is unique place to stay. The room was nice and the bathroom has a large bathtub. It is in a great location.

Great location next to the creek, good food, good prices, waffles were amazing, really enjoyed our stay.

Was close to train station. Good link to restaurant. Accommodated early start to the Birkebeinerrennet.

Lovely rooms

Everything was perfect!

Fantastic location in the heart of the town. Walking distance from the train and close to the heat dinning options. All 3 Staff we encounters at front desk were delightful and the bar tender in the sky bar was slammed and by herself but handled everything well. Over all fantastic value for money Alleviated the upgrade and comp drink. Cheers. Highly recommend.

Good location, excellent service, attached restaurant very good re breakfast and evening meals.

Hotel is located in the middle of Lillehammer. We were there early last month in September for a night. Beds are comfortable, good sound proofing and clean rooms. Good breakfast. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Fab, comfy interior, wish we were staying longer!

This is a lovely hotel really conveniently located close to the centre. It’s a renovated mill building (obviously) next to a fast running stream. So you can’t open windows on the side with the stream which has loud rapids/falls. But you can sit outside and have breakfast/dinner on the terrace which is great. Breakfast was v good with lots of choice. There is a Norwegian-chain ‘Egon’ restaurant on site which is good. The room for me, my wife and 15yr old son was snug but clean and modern. Bathroom and shower compact but modern. Overall, I’d stay again.

A great hotel with comfortable rooms near the centre of town.

Was nice and quaint, small rooms but to be expected for an historical hotel

Overlooked by carpark and no net curtains so had to keep them closed most of the time. Bed and pillows very soft so woke with back ache. Breakfast a bit disappointing with burnt congealed eggs.

Beautiful room and lovely breakfast by the river. Walkable to everything

We found the location to be excellent — very walkable and easy to get in and out of. It was a convenient base for exploring the area. However, we found the amenities to be quite limited. There was no hairdryer, no washcloths, and a lack of some basic comforts we’ve come to expect from similar stays. Additionally, the cleanliness could definitely be improved. There were visible smudges on the backsplash and other areas that made the space feel less than fresh. With a bit more attention to detail and some small upgrades, this could be a really great place. The location has a lot going for it — it just needs a little extra care to match.
