Family friendly, room was very clean, even when we don't ask to clean they always came and say that they want to clean. Staff very friendly and helpful, a lot of pubs, bars, shops nearby

There are two hotels (Sol Palmanova 1 and 2) which share the entertainment and facilities but have different dining areas and are separate buildings. We stayed in Sol Palmanova 1 for a week. The room was smaller than it looked ok the pictures, especially as we had a cot for our toddler. We had a corner room so our balcony was huge but the railing was a bit wobbly which we were disappointed about. The room was cleaned daily to a ‘good enough’ standard, but the tea and coffee and mugs were not replaced or refilled. The food in the dining hall was very good standard for all inclusive food, much better than we’ve had elsewhere. There were different things to eat each breakfast/lunch/dinner as well as the classic things being available daily. One of the main problems that we had with the hotel was that the lifts are really small (I’d say a maximum 4 people could fit in one lift) which meant we would be waiting for the lift for up to 15 minutes. The entertainment was fun and there was always something to join in with if we wanted to. The hotel was a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the local beautiful beaches (a different beach depending on which way you walked) and the restaurants in the surrounding area were lovely. The pools were clean and the children’s pools were great. Staying on the side of the hotel where the main entertainment is was quite noisy until about 12am but this was not a big deal for us. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would come back to the area.

Food options poor for children. Not really much of a choice for adults. MAY I MENTION- my niece had a burger- THE FOOD WASNT EVEN COOKED!!!! Raw burger, showed waitress staff in the dining area he took the burger back and made the staff throw all burgers, not acceptable. (Have photo of this) Not to mention the solarium room we paid for… CADDIES NOT TOPPED UP ALL WEEK pictures to showcase alongside the floor not being hooverd/ and under bed. Little towels given for adults in shower. Not actual bath towels Check in from 3pm… Room wasn’t ready for 30 minutes later Been here before, didn’t disappoint but this time gobsmacked and disgusted

Never done a review before, Have been visiting palma nova for 25 years , First and last tine staying at Sol Palmanova. We changed rooms 3 times, The family room which is basically a box room was absolutely battered, You pull the balcony door and the wall comes away with plaster falling. The furniture has been absolutely smahsed, Wardrobes falling to bits, So why did we stay here WELL Expedia making nice wide angle lenses and filters make it lool great. Am going to ask for some discount as 3k in euros is just crazy for what you get. Reception staff really friendly but i honestly think they just feel for you staying here. Also the celling in our room was leaking via the light build so in the end 3 we changed 3 rooms.

Great location & facilities. Sometimes ques at bars but went down quick as staff were great. Good selection at buffet but would have liked more fruit like strawberries & berries & greek yoghurt. Rooms were great size for 2 people & cleaned daily. We had room at back & at corner so in shade with not a great view orver grown land. Beds too hard for me so not a great sleep. I know people like hard beds but I have issues with my back and need softer matteress. Beds around pool hard also but could always get one. Snack bar had good selection of food. Overall great place

Get what pay for, clean and good location.

Hotel was just as i remembered, fabulous. Rooms are lovely and spacious and air con is good, definitely needed. Food was lovely, plenty of choice and I say that as a fussy veggie! Cocktails were delicious, pina colada hit the spot. Pools were lovely and plenty of sunbeds but we needed to be up by 8am to reserve a decent spot. Staff are lovely and very helpful and friendly. You can hire beach towels for €10 deposit each, saves you having to pack your own.

Hotel in general was nice but the hotel had 2 main lifts to access the 9 floors. The left lift was out of order the entire time and no one had any idea when it was being fixed. Apparently that lift had been out of order for 4 weeks!! No apologies, no note next to the lift stating it was out of order and the staff didn’t seem to have any idea when or if it would be fixed. Very disappointing considering it was meant to be a 4 star hotel. I’ve stayed in less and received more.

Beautiful family hotel 5 minutes walk to really nice sandy beach. Friendly staff wide selections of food night entertainment really for children mainly. I will go back again in the future.

Amazing hotel! The entertainment was great The large pool was way too cold but you got used to it. Wide range of food. Would stay again!

Food was same every day, needs to improve, also cater for vegetarian, now a days there are lots off vegetarian or vegan, As I am vegetarian there was very limited option, so for ten days I ended up eating only salads, also I know some other people as well. I would like to come again, but only if food is improved. Thank you, other wise the hotel was wonderful, Neela patel

Resort is big, buffet is great, room could have been cleaner, dirty cupboards, also we requested a double bed but were given two singles, 5 minutes from two beaches, staff friendly, charging for a safe in the room is not good customer service overall pleased with the stay

The hotel was pretty good, the staff were really helpful nothing was too much to, we enjoyed the food and the pool areas were OK but a little crowded very annoying that people get up really early and reserve sun beds with towels. Also people did the same thing for the tables for the evening entertainment and was crowded again. Between the kids entertainment and the show was quite a large gap. The rooms we thought were a bit small for families felt like we were on top of each other all the time in there.

Excellent value for money. Better organisation required for the shows in the evening. The shows were great but the other hotel guests were quite inconsiderate by walking in front of you while watching. The hotel could have arranged for a specific walkway during showtime

This is one of those all inclusive properties that service what seem mainly UK package tours. Its basic in that to has all that you need. Everything like safety box and towels cost extra. The bar line up for a drink is usually long and the food mediocre. The staff don't look happy didn't see many smiles. Also the staff are happy to give you a key at the front desk without any proof of ID which my son did twice! Would I stay here again probably not.

Avoid like the plague! I was at the Sol Mirlos 6 years ago and the food was amazing - one of the main reasons we decided to go back there. It is now the Sol Palmanova, but the decline in standards is a real eye-opener! The food is absolutely dreadful! Yes, there is a huge choice, but there is no real quality. We ended up dining out as we couldn't take any more of what they had to offer.. The staff are friendly enough but they seem very stressed. I reckon they're being stretched to the limit due to be understaffed.. The evening entertainment's a complete joke! Mime acts may have cut it in the 70's and 80's, but in this day and age people expect proper, professional entertainment. The pool area is dirty. You also have selfish holiday makers surrounding th pool leaving no access for wheelchairs or buggy's to get through. And though this is no fault of the hotel itself, the type of guest is very rough. Neds everywhere with unruly kids. If you're looking for a nice family holday with the kids then this one isn't for you! Give it a miss!

Reception was terrible; no introduction given of the property such as direction to room. Dining on the property wasn't worth it since meal wasn't the majority of the time kept warm. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Food was good , a family hotel caters for kids. However if you want a sunbed by the pool be prepared to get up at 5am to put a towel on like everyone else, although the rules do say do not do this before 9am, we did not do this and chose to go to the beach instead. Entertainment is for kids, not adults in my opinion. Rooms were clean and basic. Would not book this hotel again as it’s designed for young families ,which is great if you have a young family.Long queues at bar all the time at night. Also they squashed in a chair bed as a third bed which left no room to manoeuvre in room and Blocked the drawers.

I didn’t like queuing the whole morning for a towel and then queuing every time to get a drink , even a coffee or tea . One working lift was totally inadequate. Food was good , pool area lovely and clean, bedrooms very good but a shame the refurbishments were not done by professionals
