Friendly staff, excellent service, nice setting, would visit again

Nice Hotel... good sized room. Good restaurant and breakfasts. Nice people 3rd visit and luckily it hasn't changed. Questionnaire gives a rating on eco friendly... Quite frankly couldnt give two figs... I want comfort good atmosphere, good food and on that this hotel delivers.

Great (garden) room, but up and then down stairs to access it! Restaurants/food & service all excellent, pool average, reasonably priced, would recommend.

Lovely breakfast and food in the restaurant. Rooms spacious and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only negativity was the beds were far too soft and no ggod for our bad backs.

very old dark furniture need a good update, squeaky floorboards, hot water takes a while to come through & then scalding.

It was very pleasant. The bar staff and breakfast staff were very friendly, hard working and helpful. Lovely swimming pool and very good breakfast

Basic room, bed was uncomfortable. Floor was dirty, other occupants hairs all over the floor. Big black hairs in shower from other people. Downstairs looks really nice a shame the rest of the hotel doesn't match that.

All the Staff at the Stonehouse Hotel, stone are exceptional and make peoples stay a good one. The facilities are always clean to a high standard.

Good value hotel, well situated. The gym area could do with a bit of re-fresh, but overall pleased with my stay.

If I could give them 100 stars I would! We’ve stayed in private B&Bs, decades old inns, ancient castles and luxury hotels this trip and this one was by far the best! From the friendly hosts to the lovely decor to the peaceful surroundings, it was all great. The best showers we had the whole trip! And the breakfasts were absolutely top notch! Don’t hesitate to book this place!
