Perfect location, close different metro lines and tranvías. Clean and nice staff. Highly recommended.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Galileo. I love the hotel for a number of reasons. The location is very convenient for public transportation and it's an easy 10-15 minute tram ride to many locations. There are many great restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. The hotel itself is nice, but make sure you stay in the old building if you want a quiet room. The rooms in the new building face out to a main thorough fare with trams that are loud all night long. We stayed in the old building both times and it's quiet up on the third and fourth floors. The rooms are large with tall ceilings and comfortable beds. The air conditioning works well. Our bathroom had a tub, which is great. The breakfast is one of the main reasons why we returned. It's delicious and has a large choice of pastries, eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage, fruit, cold cuts, breads, cereals, and yogurt. It's free and make the room price an amazing deal. The only real issue we had this visit was that the elevator was not working for the entire week we were there. We had to climb 8 flights of stairs to the 4th floor and because I have arthritis, this was very hard to do. The hotel offered us a room on the first floor, but it was next to the lobby, bar and front door--very noisy. I contacted Expedia.com and they were able to secure a 20% refund for me, so I still feel good about the stay and would return again on a future visit.

Clean room. But lift was not working. Had to carry my luggage. Staff were ok. Helped store my luggage for later collection. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

The hotel is located in a good area. The rooms are spacious and with everything needed to have a comfortable stay. Breakfast room is located in 5th floor with a beautiful view and ample selection of food to enjoy a good breakfast

Great stay, great location, spacious room

Hotel in nice calm and quiet neighbourghood, it is possible to hear the trams though as you can everywhere in Prague. Small restaurants scattered in the area around the hotel. Both trams, busses and metro nearby. If you prefer walking it is 20 minutes to the center. It can be hard for the staff to keep up with the customers at breakfast if you come in between 9-10 as it is busy by that time.

If you sacrifice just 10 minutes of travel time to the city center, you can get a hearty free breakfast and a clean, spacious living space.

Very nice room

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Prague. The location was perfect — close to the main attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet still quiet and relaxing at night. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help with recommendations and directions. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with beautiful views of the city. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the excellent breakfast selection each morning. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and well organized. Prague is an amazing city, and this hotel made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.

Spacious room, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Hotel is well located on the 6 tram line and not too far from the centre.
