The breakfast menus was very varied and tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but dated.

Everything was perfect and painless. The staff is warm and helpful. The room was as comfortable as any we have stayed in at any price point. We’ll stay again as soon as we can.

The hotel is well located in the centre and the room was comfortable. We had one breakfast in the hotel but this wasn’t great, too many people and insufficient tables meant a long wait and even when we got into breakfast the standard was not high.

What a wonderful stay. The staff are extremely kind and helpful; a special thanks goes to Teeuw on reception for going the extra mile for us! The room was very spacious, clean and had all the amenities we required. Breakfast provided a range of muesli, cheese, hams and freshly baked croissants etc. A plentiful range of teas and coffees set us up nicely for daily walks around the local area. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Haarlem making it extremely easy to get around. I highly recommend a stay at the Amrath Grand Frans Hals hotel!

Yes. Very nice check in person. Room clean, nice amenities! Only negative thing is I wish they told me how to actually get to the hotel and park(i.e. Park here etc ). We figured it out but if the hotel gave driving directions that would have been nice.

Breakfast had excellent options every day. Liked the green incentive for complimentary drinks. Staff always friendly and helpful. There is a cute little black and white kitty that was a big hit with some people in our group.

The hotel is ideally situated near the Grote Markt and near all the attractions. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. We were aware that there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room, but a 4-star hotel should have one! The breakfast was rather disappointing - no fruit salad, but a few grapes and a few slices of melon. There were no saucers at breakfast and no big spoons. But the greatest disappointment was the staff. The blonde woan at reception was brief and quite snooty. I don’t want the tobe all over us, but soeties we wouldgreet them and the blond would pretend not to hear us. Never ever smiled or made us feel welcome?! The breakfast staff on the other hand were friendly and engaged one in conversation.
