The room was nice and clean the house keep was on her job ever morning that we was there she made she we had everything restocked for our and the room was nice bed could of been a little bigger but over all was a good little get away for us we enjoyed it

Property was good

Ok service. Front desk had no uniforms. Restaurant was sticky and over crowed. Everywhere smelled of mariguana

The Surf Break Hotel was very clean and well kept but what really stood out was the excellent staff. From maintenance people, room cleaners, and waitresses in the Calypso, all were very good but the best was a desk man named Matt. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. I will be back to the Surf Break due to these people!

The upgrade type room we had was just like the pictures. That doesn't always happen. The room was pretty and clean. Very bright and open. A huge balcony plus another huge window..all ocean front. Matt at the front desk was great! Friendly and helpful. He seemed to like his job. Some of the others not so much. I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice staff clean room

The beds were very uncomfortable, the toilet wouldn’t stop running, you had to juggle the handle for the water to stop running and AC unit condensation run off was running into the patio so when we sat on the balcony our feet were soaked with water run off from the AC. The overflow parking was full with people that had illegally parked there and “they were trying to figure that out” so I had to park in an undesignated parking spot because they couldn’t provide me with anywhere else to park. I did mention the toilet and AC run off to the front desk they said they would have maintenance come up but they never did. It had a good ocean front view, if you like looking at ocean with your feet in AC condensation.

At check-in there was delay due to the person at the desk not knowing how to do a few things and having to wait for different employees to come and help. I was sent to the overflow parking lot across the street to find that there was no parking available. However, an employee moved their car in the parking lot at the hotel so that I could have a parking spot. Also, the hotel has a weird smell in the lobby and hallways but the not in the room. Not the best experience for the cost but its a beachfront hotel so you're really just paying for location.

The hotel is older but right on the boardwalk with beach access right outside the back door. The rooms are updated. The room was nice and clean upon arrival. We didn't use our do not disturb sign but our room wasnt cleaned in between the nights we stayed. People had their garbage and dirty towels sitting outside their rooms on the hall floors. Hallways were not air conditioned and were very hot. One of the two elevators was down almost all day Saturday which was very inconvenient when hauling beach bags, coolers, chairs, etc. Back to your room. There's also no arrow signs outside the elevators on floors 2-8 so you never knew if the elevators were going up or down until it stopped and you asked the people on it. The pool area was very small but clean. There were maybe 10 chairs total and 2 tables. There's no parking at the hotel so you have to drop your stuff off and drive about 4 blocks away to park. The hotel parking lot was full by 3 pm the Saturday we checked in and check-in for the hotel is at 4 pm. Luckily, we had arrived around 1:30 pm and were able to get a parking spot while we waited for our room to become available. We had friends that arrived after us that were unable to get parking in the hotels lot as it was already full. The front desk staff were very friendly and pleasant. We were there for a long weekend and the bar directly next door had bands and djs throughout the day and night. It was loud at night so if you go to bed early that might keep you up.

Nice beachfront hotel. Quiet & room & bathroom was clean. Everything worked properly. Parking was a street over but not too far away.

Found the rooms to be clean, bathroom clean, beds comfortable. Only around 10 parking spaces in front of hotel, but the overflow parking is a short walk away. it is very tight, a large vehicle may have trouble. Is very tight , a large vehicle may have trouble

Pros: Rooms were sound proof, staff was friendly, parking and layout of hotel was convenient. Convenient area to walk to beach, restaurants, stores and fun park. Cons: very small bathroom with stain in tub, bathroom door was very difficult to shut and open, room service never once serviced the room because they would only come around 9am and if we were still in the room just wouldnt come back. They did give us more towels upon request. The restaurant on site had a very small menu and was overpriced.

Great hotel! Amazing view! Very clean
