Great Hotel

Moquette crasseuse. Ascenseur et parties publiques à la limite de l'illégal. Notre chambre ne correspondait en rien à la photo.

Unpretentious and good at what it did. A pleasant stay.

Good site for a visit to Puy de domes (recommended) and good restaurant despite being one of the cheapest we used.

Convenient to our target destination, the Puy de Dome. Built on a very steep roadway, no convenient place to park to offload/ load baggage. Parking lot across the road in a ravine, difficult to access. Rooms redefined "small". Need to ask for a key for the room safe. Staff were hospitable and eager to please. Bedding was comfortable, sheeting satisfactory, all was very clean. Our room was at the back of the hotel and all was quiet, no street noise. Restaurant food was of sufficient quantity, tasty and at a reasonable price

Spent two nights here.An old spa town with interesting buildings and a good Tourist Office.We went by bus into Clermont Ferrand and had a great day.Excellent bus service.

Nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. We were able to use a garage for our motorcycles while we stayed - very useful and no extra charge! Good location for Royatonic and efficient bus service into Clarmont-Ferrand city centre. The car park and garage are based at the rear of the hotel and accessed via some quite steep steps - not a problem if fit and able - otherwise stop outside the front to drop your bags off! Some rooms have been updated, but all clean and tidy - housestaff attended too each day. Overall a good stay and good location for touring the surrounding area.

Very friendly staff and a lovely evening meal.

The rooms are old, the walls are thin, the internet cuts out often. The guy on reception is disinterested and unhelpful, nothing much in the vicinity to do. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

Bed very comfortable but that was about it, if tea and coffee had been available in room it would have been good

Good value medium budget hotel. frequented by French travellers and business people. so food and service good for price. friendly staff. internet did keep dropping out but could have been the weather! very convenient for both city centre and Puy De Dome. restaurant open every night. Thankfully.

Reception was great helped us with our poorly spoken Fŕench. Waiting staff could not do enough to make our meals enjoyable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Used as an overnight stop on the way to the South coast. Comfortable family room in a traditional hotel. Lovely breakfast.

Very nice stay. The hitel is slighlty old, but in good condition and very good value for the price. We also very much appriciated the good and friendly service.

As a stop over hotel, this was a great find. Our mattress was as good as one in a 5 star hotel, meaning we had a fabulous sleep. The staff were engaging, helpful and attentive - just what was needed after a tricky journey!

Arrivés à 23h30, nous nous retrouvons nez à nez avec une porte fermée et un numéro de téléphone à appeler. Nous appelons, la personne qui nous répond nous explique que ça ne se fait pas, qu'il fallait prévenir à 21h30. Or aucun message d'Hotels.com ou du l’hôtel lui même ne nous avait averti de cela. La personne fini par descendre nous ouvrir, vraisemblablement énervée d’avoir été réveillée, et nous sermonne sur le fait que ça ne se fait pas. Je tente d'expliquer poliment que si j'avais eu l'info, j'aurais prévenu, mais qu'en l'absence d'infos spécifiques, arriver à l'hôtel à cette heure-ci est parfaitement normal et se fait partout. La personne ne veut rien entendre, sort des incohérences ("vous avez réservé sur Expédia, pas Hotels.com") s’énerve et menace de ne pas nous donner la chambre. On laisse tomber l'échange car le gars n'est pas cohérent et rétif au dialogue courtois (on ne va pas dormir dans la rue quand même), il nous donne la chambre tout en nous glissant un nouveau commentaire désagréable. Bref... ce genre d’individus ne font pas honneur à cette profession où l'hospitalité et la courtoise sont la base du métier.

Hotel ancien mais confortable, chambre pas tres bien insonorisée

Cet hotel sans pretention est tres bien situe. Le petit dej est suffisant. Tres bien pour visiter le puy de dome

Il ne font pas de menus manque biscuit pour apéritif petit déjeuner tres bien j'avais réservé pour le repas amiversaire de mariage a part sa le séjour ses bien passé bon accueil
