Everything was perfect , staff, foood , stay , music was cut off by 12 like they said perfect experience

Very nice clean, narrow corridors mind you. Nice big fat car park, reception staff never at their posts had to wait a few mins at times

We had seen not very good reviews about the hotel but were pleasantly surprised. We had 5 rooms booked family and standard, all clean. Hotel is very nice, easy to get to, good gym sauna pool facilities. Hotel is a bit worn but clean and like any other hotel. Breakfast was good. We stayed as there was a wedding function at the Hotel so can be noisy at night, but wasn't too bad. Hotel staff were very nice and helpfull. Not much near hotel to do but lots of places to order from around the area. Grounds are very big so good if you have children as lots of space to play. Rooms all different sizes, family rooms are big , standard smaller, bathroom very clean. We had no issues and would definitely come back again, think maybe over years once renovated to a modern standard would be 5 star Hotel. Only recommendations would be when we had our room cleaned our cups we used to make tea were kot replaced with new ones and used towels were not replaced automatically but apart from the minor things no faults, we really enjoyed our stay thank you

Basic room in need of update

Air conditioning didn’t work despite the maintenance manager insisting it did. Italian manager on reception gave me a different room but when I had just arrived tired and hungry I didn’t expect to spend 45 minutes getting it sorted. Disappointing

Good value hotel, room was spacious and shower powerful, AC was good, dinner menu is really good but breakfast was limited due to being in a temporary location in the orangery which is a really nice space and great views of the garden. Generally the building is set up for weekend weddings but ok for a week day stay. I would defiantly stay here again.

The hotel was a bit dated. However it was clean and breakfast was adequate. The spa/ pool was average but clean. The staff were not particularly helpful. A request for a late checkout was immediately met with a response £10 extra charge. When I asked for another towel at the pool, to replace the wet towel, this was denied. Small personal extras could have made this stay feel luxurious but instead it felt like a budget stay.

It was an excellent place. It was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this place to other travellers, especially if you're looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. I had a good experience overall.

Very happy with my stay at the hotel, found it easy to book the 2 rooms i needed. Check in was very efficient and fast. Room was nice and spacious air conditioning worked very well in this heat. Breakfast had plenty of choice checkout was very efficient as well.

The staff were helpful throughout our stay.

The room was beautiful and immaculately kept. The facilities are superb - the gym is huge and has everything and then the pool is heated with a sauna and steam room there as well.

King size bed which was a double Air con didn’t work Water pressure was awful and kept going from hot to cold Staff seemed to care but this was quickly shattered when I saw them joking about a customer after speaking to them. The breakfast was ok without any hot vegan options. Room service trays were left unattended outside rooms. I booked to try and escape the heat however this ended up only being some what of a success Pool was warm and uncomfortable to swim in would liked it be cooler I wasn’t the only one to think so. Ok for one night at a push

Spa is a stretch - a grubby pool with a stinky filter is a better description. Greeting by reception made me feel like a nuisance, he really coudlnt be bothered. The menu was not the full menu shown on the website, so lots of options missing, the cocktails are in a tin, but the price would indicate it was freshly made. The kettle didnt work, the water in the shower was cold so overall a real let down. I did complain at the time and in writing when I returned home, still waiting for a response

Terrible experience on both Expedia and the hotel. I booked a room, did the pre-checking online after expedia sends me a messague. When I go to the hotel around 6.30 p.m. the guy at reception casually tells me that they cannot accommodate me because they had an issue with my room. That's it. On top of that; the person at reception tells me as if it helps that they contacted Expedia at 5p.m. which then when I called Expedia hours later after doing my own arrangements was not True. Horrible communication on both parts. No apologies, no solutions other than calling Expedia for nothing as they were not even aware of the situation. Then they have the audacity to call me at almost midnight after our call dropped 5 hours earlier.

I didn’t think it was 4 star hotel, carpet was dirty and walls are scuffed, restaurant was ok, but service wasn’t great. Bathroom is the newest and nice, bed is very comfortable though
