Clean and quiet room. Friendly staff. Great place to stay in Cranbrook.

Was no breakfast offered, no room upgrade. Stay was satisfactory.

Not sure if the room had AC…It was difficult to get it cool enough for sleeping… no obvious control except for an old fashioned thermostat. Couldn’t get the guide function to work on TV so it was hard to find a station to watch. Bathroom had a very small toilet so it is a long way down when sitting. As with many motel beds the sheets were tucked very low requiring that the user remake the bed. Breakfast not bad with custom omelettes but the potential ingredients for same limited to celery, white onion, spinach, and peppers. All in all an OK stay for the price but a few odd conditions.

Queen bed Mattress sagged into the middle. Needed replacing. Couch was dated and stained. Room overall dated. No thermostat control so room was warm. The breakfast was good. That’s about it.

The hotel is dated but clean. Ripped carpet edges and stained couches. Very short shower head, I’m 5’6 and had to crouch to rinse the top of my head. The shower also had a high pitched squeal the whole time it ran which I remember having in another room last time I stayed here. Very comfortable bed and the hot breakfast is as good as you can hope for being free. Great staff all around. I was placed in the room next to the elevator which worried me at first, but I barely heard it. Individual climate control doesn’t exist in the rooms and people smoke right outside so opening your window isn’t always an option, so I found myself too warm and too cold at times. Overall it was good for the price and I would stay again.

We have stayed here many times and will be back. The rooms against the road are loud with road noise.

The hotel is well managed and meets the needs of travellers. The rooms are comfortable, clean with the usual amenities. The breakfast provides several options and is of good quality. Overall this is a very good affordable hotel.

Breakfast included an omelet bar which was good but did not include cheese which was odd. The only issue with the room is the elevator was not working. Our room was on the 3rd floor but staff helped with ourvluggage.

Another guest complained about bed bug

The elevator was out of service so had to hump my luggage, briefcase and purse up 3 flights of stairs. The room was hot and there was no adjusting the thermostat. Called front desk, maintenance came up and said he couldn’t fix it due to it’s all controlled by the hotel. He brought a stand up fan for me and said to open the window with the fan in front of it. That helped somewhat until bedtime and the noise of the traffic outside the window made it unbearable to sleep. The shower wouldn’t drain and I stood in 6 inches of water while showering. Wouldn’t recommend.

Enjoyed staying in the hotel. Finally gust has become more important than profit. Loyalty is the best investment

The breakfast is excellent full meal deal. Very convenient for travellers.

Elevator was not working, had to carry our luggage and senior dog upstairs. My husband enjoyed breakfast. Parking was free. Room was sort of clean but very dusty. The reception was friendly and I wish them well.
