We had the most wonderful wedding day at this venue. It is a beautiful setting and was absolutely perfect for the intimate wedding we wanted. The team on the day worked tirelessly to make everything run smoothly and ensure every detail was taken care of. They were incredibly flexible with timings and always on hand to make sure both we and our guests had everything we needed. We were also given access to the room early, which gave us plenty of time to set up a few personal touches before the venue dresser arrived. This was greatly appreciated and helped the day feel relaxed from the start. Everything ran seamlessly and the team played a huge part in making our day so special. We were also touched to find a little gift left for us in our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the day. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate wedding venue with a fantastic team who genuinely care about making your day perfect

I regularly visit Hotel Cromwell in Stevenage for business networking events/meetings and always have such a positive experience. It’s a lovely, welcoming venue, with the added bonus of free parking, which makes attending events so much easier. Sarah, the events host, is brilliant, and the reception team are always so friendly and welcoming too. It has a really nice atmosphere for networking and business events, professional but relaxed, and I’m always happy to come back.

Beautiful hotel and the perfect venue for my book launch in August 2025. The staff were wonderful, the food was great and everything ran so smoothly. I spent the night there afterwards and my room was very comfortable. I also attend monthly networking meetings in the hotel and easy parking is a definite bonus. A lovely atmosphere every time I visit — highly recommend!

We stayed here for a family Anniversary party and honestly apart from the room being quiet warm (we opened the window), simple solution it was beautiful. The family room was a good size and it was nice that our son was on a proper bed not just a sofa pull out. The shower pressure was amazing!! The food at the event was beautiful and the breakfast was exactly what you expect of a hotel buffet breakfast. Having read the negative reviews I think the people leaving them need to give their heads a little wobble this is a beautiful hotel, with polite staff and good quality food.

100% book this venue for your wedding. We loved the Cromwell for making our special day even more amazing!
