I had a really lovely stay at New Place Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, the spa facilities were excellent, and the food in the restaurant was genuinely very good. All of the staff we encountered were polite, professional and extremely helpful throughout my visit. Management were also responsive and handled matters appropriately. There was an issue with some disruptive guests during my stay, which was unfortunate, but I cannot fault how the team dealt with the situation. They were calm, professional and took my concerns seriously. Overall, a great hotel with excellent service, and we would happily return.

Good hotel. The layout is like a motel. The room was good. And the food was good as well as the service. Pool was a good size. We enjoyed our family trip

The photo of the hotel is misleading. Beautiful old building in nice grounds. The rooms are at the side in separate blocks. It's a bit like a motel on the side. The rooms were very small, but functional. The hallways were very grubby looking. Clean, but in need of paint and repair. We got a good deal. For one night it was okay. Didn't see much in surrounding area, but we didn't really look. Recommend The Black Dog pub. 5 min walk from hotel.

Amazing value rooms with small but sufficient pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Incredible interiors in the main house with an incredible historyof how it came to be. Double stacked fireplaces, oak panelling and ornate plaster ceilings. Beautiful paintings throughout from the owner who is an art collector. The Bristol dining room has to be one of the most special dining rooms this side of the UK! Food and wine was fabulous. Buffet breakfasts- standard selection, but good quality and well cooked. Lovely grounds for a walk. Ample parking. Conference and wedding availability.

I joined on a multi month membership to use the sauna here. The gym itself is not as good as Swanmore college, whilst being more expensive. But, as I say, the sauna swung it in their favour. Imagine my (and presumably, many others) disappointment, when the sauna is out of action for nearly a month because of a broken slat. Yes, you read that correctly. Imagine too, my disappointment, that after having spoke to Dom at the front desk to get management to speak to me about it, it has been nearly 2 weeks without a word. Though, they do seem to take an unbelievably long time to do things...
