All îs ok

Very disappointed that the room smelt very strongly of smoke despite being offered as a non-smoking room! Didn’t do my homework properly and didn’t realise that there was no air conditioning. Overall the condition of the hotel and accommodation needs some updating but is in a handy position whilst en route.

Cold water for ahowers and was very messy dirty and lost of rubbish outside

Arrived to the hotel late afternoon, The location was terrible and not disclosed on the reservation website. There is no signage indicating if is a hotel or not. Actually no signage at all. Had to go inside to ask. The way to the room included stairs the looked lime you where in an abandoned warehouse, dirty and filthy. The first impression was terrible although didn't have too many expectations due to the rate but the appearance at arrival made the experience horrible. The staff was polite, dinner quality was to desire, the best thing was the croissant at breakfast. Will never go even close again.

We stayed overnight enroute to Calais, and although we were initially disappointed to find the bar closed when we arrived at 9.30pm, the staff opened up and served us much needed drinks.

On a tour of battlefields

The hotel address printed in the reservation paper is not correct. We spent lots of time to find it.

This is a hotel located on a business park on the outskirts of Valenciennes, and it could also do with a lick of paint on the exterior, but it fulfils its niche perfectly well. The room rates are reasonable, breakfast selection is decent, evening meals are available and reasonably-priced. The staff are friendly and most also speak English. The room itself was clean and tidy, nothing to fault there. It would have been helpful to have more than one electrical socket, and the shower was a bit feeble and the water not always very warm, but overall this hotel met our needs for the three days we spent there.

État vieillissement de l’hôtel . Manque d’entretien.. mauvais état de la salle de bain (sèche cheveux en mauvais état, robinet qui bouge, lunette de toilette mal fixé et un oreiller sur deux taché…)

La chambre n’était pas propre et les oreillers sentaient mauvais. J’ai très mal dormi à cause de l’odeur. Les oreillers sont à changer.

Je trouve que l'hôtel a un manque d'hygiène je suis parti le soir même je n'ai même pas dormi dans la chambre

Hôtel correcte mais qui aurait besoin de rafraîchissement notamment à l'extérieur, la chambre est correcte, manque un petit chauffage à la salle de bain et les rideaux sont un peu juste pour la longueur de la fenêtre, petit déj très bon à prix raisonnable

Hotel de passage Forte odeur de tabac dans la chambre Petit dejeuner le lundi pas avant 8h.
