We enjoyed our stay

Horrendous experience with this place. I’ve never left a review like this. But we weren’t notified that the pool would be closed during our stay; nothing was posted either. When I explained this less than 24 hours of booking the staff were not accommodating and the manager never made an effort to reach out when I asked to speak to one. They transferred me to another hotel that they selected and wouldn’t let me choose to be with my family when they booked somewhere else. They were rude to the Expedia staff when they attempted to reach out (not answering the phone, taking days to get back). The difference in money from what I paid them to the new hotel they kept. Just really disgusted in this level of customer service… nobody wants to be a Karen but people should be aware of their service they’ll get here. In a world like today it doesn’t hurt to have some common decency and respect either. Last time I’ll stay at a Marriott.

We stay here for the pool & slide and it was closed and we paid the full rate

Parking was plentiful. We were there in the winter, so we can’t comment on air conditioning. The pool and hot tub were undergoing MAJOR repairs, so that was disappointing, but we were offered the use of a pool at another hotel in town with whom they had made an agreement. The rooms were clean.

This hotel oversells rooms and just books you elsewhere, telling you hours before checking time. This was highly inconvenient and caused me to have to book travel. They don't keep their inventory updated correctly. They were very adamant about not helping me at all.

Pool was down which was a bummer. Clean place though- not very much around this area. It seems to be an industrial park.

Room was clean, complimentary breakfast was great, only downfall was pool was open to adults and children the entire time when i personally would have had adult time only in pool area after 7 pm.

When we arrived, we were told the pool was closed for maintenance. As this was the main priority for us, we chose to go elsewhere-before even checking in. After I left and checked in elsewhere, I was contacted by the staff at the Fairmont. I informed that I have to pay for a room anyways, because I didn’t cancel 48 hours in advance. When I mentioned the pool not being available, I was told it was on their website and my responsibility to know this. First of all, I booked through Hotels.com so I didn’t go to their actual website. Second, out of curiosity, I checked out their website. It did not mention that the pool was in fact closed. After I left, this hotel attempted to take the unauthorized charge from my credit card ** 7 times **. From the start, the front desk staff was not friendly and the phone calls, after I left, were very rude. As I said, the pool was the main priority for me when choosing a hotel for this night. I was travelling with children! Because of this experience, I am not likely to stay at this hotel in the future.

Hotel was great, staff friendly. Needed a place to stay while visiting family. Room had no view except for a blank wall, which was fine for my needs

The check-in for this stay was terrible. We reached out 2 days before our stay asking for early check-in and we were told it wasn't an option. We also reached out the morning of our arrival and were told no early check-ins. We arrived at 2:50pm for 3pm check-in and were told we couldn't check-in and had to wait until 3pm. Then at 3pm, there was approximately 50-60 families in the lobby with children and luggage trying to check-in. It took over an hour to get our room key. This was completely unacceptable and a complete fire hazard in the lobby. Pros: Our room was clean and the breakfast was great, lots of choices and refilled often for hot choices. Cons: Check-in process was absolutely terrible, slide hours at the pool were minimal so our children barely got to use the slide, which was what they were most excited about.

Room was clean and updated. Staff were very pleasant checking us in quickly and providing an excellent breakfast buffet. The grounds, building, pool, hot tub and waterslide were also all clean and well maintained.

Clean room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast included- only downfall was the water slide was out of order, which would of been nice to know since that’s why we chose this hotel

Room was not spotless. Good on the floor in multiple places

Room was okay but was right by elevators which is noisy. I don't like being put in an accessable room when I don't have a need for that. Everything else was fine

Room was great. Breakfast is good. Kids love the pool. The staff are really nice. David M has checked us in a couple times now and he is always super polite and courteous. He was training a young lady and I'm sure she will be just as great learning from him.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean and beds were comfortable, good options at breakfast. Elevator made some interesting noises.
