Very nice stay, great choice for breakfasts, one of the best I've seen, would definitely go again.

Lovely view of the lake from our room. Room was spacious. Cleaning lacked attention to detail - there was dust on the shelves by the kettle. The shower gel had been watered down.
I wouldn’t eat in either of the restaurants if I stayed again. Food was overpriced for what it was. Breakfast was very busy and only one coffee machine for decaf coffee so had to wait quite a long time to access the machine
Staff were friendly.

Lovely stay, it was my second time there. However, I was in a room that was right above the fans/generators or something so it was really noisy even at nearly 11pm and came back to life at 5am. Other than those times I slept well. The room needed a new TV the screen was purple and didn’t have any other colouring. I would stay again though, it is a lovely hotel and the food is delicious too. East parking and great facilities,

Dinner in Brasserie was below average, my vegetarian Wellington was passable, tasteless and dense, not that hot. My husbands meal was luke warm and chewy - when his almost full plate was removed, waiter ‘head of house’ said all ok, we said not really and he walked away 🤔

Nice place, rooms very basic though and more like a travel lodge. Everything else is nice though

The breakfast has changed since the last time we visited. It says that it's healthier with a very limited choice of cereal, although I found the granola very sweet. There are no longer any fried eggs or fried potatoes. Whilst I appreciate the sentiment, they still serve traditional bar meals with chips and mayonnaise, so doesn't seem a joined up approach? Preferred the previous system.

Clean and well-equipped rooms, although very impersonal due to the vast size of the hotel. Parking was a bit of a nightmare but managed to find a space eventually. Breakfast was nice and the staff were pleasant.

I chose to stay here after seeing the images of a pool and spa facilities. However, it was disappointing to find that after paying for my stay, which can be well over £200 a night here, you still have to pay £10 to use the pool. That just seems really tight to me.

Okay overall. Staff are great.
No bottled water in the room, will expect this is provided considering what you paid. No EV charger available on site is a big mark deduction (Both out of service). They should send this message out to everyone who has made a booking, I only found out when I arrived but luckily there's a EV charging point in close proximity. Variety of breakfast buffet is okay, lack of fruits.

The hotel on the whole was lovely and it was perfect for location. The issue was with our specific room, we had a tiny window and as far as I could make out from looking at all the windows, we were the only room in the hotel that had that small a window which made it feel more of a prison cell.
We stayed for 2 nights and each morning (once at 6am and then at 8am) we were awoken by an incredibly loud and constant vibrating noise. The first time we heard it it sounded like a plane engine so we thought it was a plane flying low initially. However I do think the room was next to maybe some kind of generator/power room and the noise was potentially related to the machines in there but I can’t stress how loud the noise was and for the time as well it just did affect the sleep.
